This modern hotel is located in the Panamanian city of David, just 3 minutes’ walk from Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra Park. It offers a fitness center, a sauna and an outdoor pool. Great location, and we love the loose-leaf, high-quality teas. The bed was comfy. Breakfast is very good.

The Golden Frog Inn has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Valle de Anton. Fantastic location under the mountain. Beautiful facility. Green, lots of flowers. You feel good. My terrace was facing a fantastic garden. The staff was very very helpful and positive.

HOTEL CASA AMARILLA et RESTAURANT has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Punta Chame. There's an outdoor pool and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking. Rosemary and staff were fantastic. Went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful few days. The restaurant had a great menu with plenty of variety for whatever your taste. The food and service was impeccable. Would highly recommend!

Nomada Republic Hotel El valle features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Valle de Anton. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. The view from the garden suite is perfect. We didn’t regret not booking the mountain view suite because you can see mountains from all sides. The experience of staying in the shipping containers was so fun, but do note that there are heavy winds at night so bring ear plugs. The staff were so wonderful, very friendly and helped us organize a waterfall hike and drive down to the town. We loved eating at the restaurant Las Nubes close by and it was convenient to have breakfast there. Very peaceful experience and nice to have a bathroom attached, although expect a bit of dirt on the floor of the room. The complementary coffee was a nice touch to enjoy from the balcony with a view.

Offering an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness center, Ramada Plaza Panamá - Punta Pacífica is located in Panama City. It features panoramic views of the city and free WiFi. Good location, 5 min walk to multiplaza. 10 min uber from casco viejo. Great value, nice facilities, exceptional breakfast. Clean and comfy

Located in Bocas Town, a few steps from Bluff, S Boutique Hotel provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Very well designed and maintained. The style and comfort were tantamount to a 5 diamond hotel. The owners were absolutely amazing. I can not stress how important they made each and every guest feel, like you were not just a guest but part of their extended community.

Casa Morada in Antón has 4-star accommodations with a garden. Rooms include a patio with a garden view. At the hotel, the rooms include a closetand a terrace with a mountain view. Birding from bed! I didn’t believe it when Bret said we would be seeing so many delightful and diverse birds right out the windows but there was a constant visiting of hummingbirds and other rare sightings.

Hampton by Hilton David, Panamá features a fitness center, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in David. This 3-star hotel offers free shuttle service, room service and free WiFi. The hotel room was beyond perfect in size and cleanliness. The breakfast is so good! Buffet style.

Located in Santa Catalina, a 5-minute walk from Santa Catalina Beach, Tiki Lodge Hotel de Charme has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I really enjoyed staying at Tiki!!! Claudia, the owner, made me feel at home, and as soon as I arrived from a long trip she was already there waiting to welcome me. Everything is new and clean in the lodge. Rooms are well-equipped and have good air conditioning, comfy beds and a great decoration. The pool is specially beautiful at night and together with the garden makes a good place to chill. The restaurant is great and is probably the best option in town, with great drinks and several food options. Breakfast is also delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to do anything to make you feel welcome there. They also have a shop that is most likely the only place you will find souvenirs in town, and exclusive handmade items. Special thanks to Claudia and Natalie who made my stay more than special!
