The coffee was vile. Nescafé would have been better. We had to wait 25 minutes for a Continental breakfast. The croissant was barely warm and there was only one other person in the room so it was not as if they were overrun

I was in a cute, little cosy room with newly decorated bathroom. I loved the lighting of the mirror which was adjustable. Many hotels have bad lighting, which makes applying make-up or grooming more difficult.
The Carlton offers bright, airy rooms with free Wi-Fi, 0.5 miles from the center of Rugby. There is a stylish, modern bar and the restaurant uses fresh, quality produce.

Not sure I liked anything about the property, had no choice but to stay there, all decent properties were fully booked.

Crick is lovely and the Wheatsheaf is ideally located.
Crick is lovely and the Wheatsheaf is ideally located. A very handy Co-op is opposite and its a 10 minute easy walk through the village to the Grand Union Canal, Leicester Line if your visiting the boat show.

The location is convenient. The receptionist was rude.
The location is convenient. The receptionist was rude. The air conditioning did not work. We are promised a fan then told one wasn’t available. We were offered a room move but to a double not a twin and at 9pm at night do we were already in bed. There were very limited vegetarian and vegan options in the menus. The pool and jacuzzi were ok and the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were nice.

hi i hope you get this message through to the ibis at crick, the customer services on a sunday night was excellent and we had a lovely meal
however if you are going to charge£8.95 for breakfast ,it cant be served cold with over done sausages etc that were inedible,i do not blame the night porter, some one should have to cook and make breakfast, not someone who can not deal with something he can not achieve

My first stay in an Ibis Hotel and I was impressed with all the Staffs politeness and knowledge. Bedroom clean, tidy and very comfortable.
Evening meal menu superb, my choices came very quickly and most enjoyable, the chef and his staff are to be congratulated.
Breakfast choices excellent also great value for money.
If in the area again I would go out of my way to stay once more at the Crick hotel.

Hotel ist quite outdated and could do with a make over.
Hotel ist quite outdated and could do with a make over. Pictures online don't really reflect true picture of rooms and facilities..good for a pit stop but not for a "relaxing weekend away". Hasn't got the standard you would usually get from a 3 star holiday Inn. Breakfast was mediocre

Crick is a nice village with beautiful countryside and access to a canal. However, I don't think it has a great deal of general appeal for tourists. Crick is centrally located in the country with excellent access to the road network and possibly a useful stopping point for those on long journeys needing accommodation for the night.
The price for our stay was awesome. We were on the way back from a very long journey and I needed a night sleep! Was able to book and within the hour in the hotel. Easy to get to if travelling Northbound too so there will be instructions on how to get there exclusively rather than turning around at the next junction - there is a bridge that Days Inn customers can use at the junction. The lady at the reception was really nice too.
The room was decently sized and clean, which is all you can really ask for from a hotel like this. The car park is also large and appeared to be well covered with cameras. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good, served early enough for business travellers on weekends with an early start.
I liked the hotel it was very comfortable and great that it also had a pool. The staff in the restaurant for breakfast were very friendly.. the rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were lovely and comfortable.. the breakfast were lovely and consistently lovely..
The gentleman at reception was very accommodating and nice considering we arrived quite late and had a lot of luggage, corridors were warm and rooms cosy and very clean, good value for a budget hotel and ample parking for our van.
It was convenient! Hotels at motorway services are always crap and this one is no exception. The woman on reception was nice and that's where the joy ended.
