This B&B offered a great location not far from Leeds but outside the bustle of the city. It's also right next to Pontefract and it's associated sites. The owners were super friendly and provided several new ideas for things to see in the area that I would not have otherwise known about.
Just off the A1 and 3 miles from Pontefract town center, in the Yorkshire countryside, Darrington by Good Night Inns features a restaurant and free parking. It is 2 miles from Pontefract Racecourse.

Excellent food, breakfast and Dinner. Room size is awesome and the view from the bungalows was great. Excellent wait staff, friendly, welcome you with a smile.

Bit of a hidden gem - nice canal and a great pub overlooking it! Easy access to A1 and plenty of great countryside nearby. Train station so options for those not driving.
There for a party so didn't really explore more widely but will be back.
