Hosts were very likable and outgoing. Views over the local countryside were splendid. Full English breakfast was everything we expected and delicious! Special driving directions were essential because we arrived in the dark.
The New Inn Halse has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Taunton. The inn also has free WiFi and free private parking.

Very well run community pub. Very busy with a local quiz evening drawing people in. Good service and someone came in just for us at breakfast. Only continental available which was completely fine with us. Carry on the good work!
Near the Devon/ Somerset border, the Victorian country house Greenham Hall lies within 25 minutes’ drive of Taunton and Exmoor National Park.

Beautiful building, downside which sounds awful but no TV in room
And we were fine but for those who are less sociable, you feel forced to sit and eat/drink with other guests
The host was an amazing lady, very friendly and attentive, just an outstanding place to visit, definitely worth the money
