Nautilus Hotel, hotel in Santo Stefano di Magra

Nautilus Hotel is close to the port, in the business district of La Spezia. Rooms at Nautilus Hotel come with free Wi-Fi access.

The Nautilus Hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The rooms and amenities are basic, but the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located (the train station is easily accessible by bus) - and the hotel manager was wonderful! My friend and I had trouble finding a taxi the day we left, and she and her husband were so kind in helping us. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable home base from which to explore the Cinque Terre.

Very nice small town, super train connection to La Spezia, where you can start your trip to Cinque Terre and also Pisa you can reach easy with the train. Next to train station is a big mall, where you can buy everything you need, and on the streets you will find a lot of fine bakerys and coffees.

Ok, I'm not one to COMPLAIN, but the TRUTH must be said! 1.

Ok, I'm not one to COMPLAIN, but the TRUTH must be said! 1. DO NOT get fooled into thinking this property has or had air-conditioning, as it was advertised as air-conditionened when i booked the property. This was the main point for me booking the property, travelling with 2 kids! So it was falsely advertised! The property manager & the owner had no interested at all, in any kind of reimburcement. they already had my money! 2. DO NOT let them fool you into thinking the floor cooling system is good.IT'S NOT! The apartment was always at +28C or higher temprature inside the flat. 3. When i complained to Booking.com, it was clear that this property was advertised i the past. As they mentioned the false advertising of the air-conditioning had been asked to be removed before. Presumption is, it had bad reviews, so it was re-advertised! 4. The property is advertised with Netflix, but this didnt work & I reached out to the property manager (who, by her own words is a well educated lady) But she didn't respond to me at all. With regards to the terrestial TV channels, good luck if you get 50% of the channels viewable at all. 5. The property management NEVER call you only message you, Even when I call them, they dont answer. Dont expect a call back, you will only get a message, as they are supposedly busy! Even hours and days later still no replies! 6. No one there to greet you, i had to call Martina to let her know we arrived, worst of all, we also had to go find her! She was not there to greet us! Great service! 7. It says quiet time from 22:00hrs! What a joke! All neighbours were loud & up well after midnight or later! 8. Internet, was so bad that your mobile phone internet was faster & more stable! lucky to get 25mb download speed at best & upload speed at 0.76mb, good for nothing at all! BE WARNED! ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, CONCIDER YOURSELF BURNT! THIS PROPERTY IS NOT, ALL WHAT THEY TELL YOU!

The hotel is on the hill, the room is very big, quiet and beautiful with a balcony with a stunning view, staff are nice, the breakfast is good but you need to go earlier. The restaurant served good foods, but a bit slow. Free parking.
