Location is beautiful, staff were lovely. Beds are super comfy! The pool is warm.
After a long day of meetings and presentations, guests staying at Eden Oak Geelong can take a dip in the outdoor pool or hot tub, which are both surrounded by a dining area and a garden.

Quiet location in pleasant surroundings. The room was comfortable and well appointed and adequate for our needs. The breakfast selection was more than expected.
Just 656 feet from Eastern Beach, Eastern Sands City Center offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. The hotel features a bar and restaurant with fireplace.
Parkside Motel offers an outdoor pool, free WiFi and free parking. It is located across the road from Belmont Village Shopping Center, just a minute’s walk from Cameron Park and Barwon River.
I do the Ironman event each year. I plan to come back and stay for a holiday lots to see, I love the bats and the Botanical garden. The swim circle thing is excellent although has a strong urine smell near the facilities.
Lots of paths for cycling and the Barwon river has an excellent walking track all along. Great place for active people.
If you're into food then you're in for a treat, lots of cafe and restuarants offering a great range of quality foods. I had some delicious crepes on the foreshor.

Geelong city is a very nice place.
Geelong city is a very nice place. It has a long fresh air beach with a lot of seagulls flying around and basking in the sun. It is a city for people who love running and cycling. A city where you can come back to nature with many kinds of birds such as Cockatoos, Magpies...

I stayed the night as I was catching the Spirit of Tasmania early the following morning. I would have been very happy to have spent longer to explore Geelong. Where I stayed was very convenient, quiet and easy walking distance to restaurants.

The waterfront is lovely; Eastern beach has beautiful park surrounds that reflect an elegance of an earlier era; many restaurants with great cuisine; art galleries; the botanic gardens are delightful.

Melbourne without the crowds.
Melbourne without the crowds. There are some great restaurants and cafe's in Geelong but without having to deal with the crowds of Melbourne. If you want to go to Melbourne we got a train which was easy and comfortable and took around 50 minutes. Great wineries nearby and if you want a day trip Great Ocean Road or Otway National Park are within a couple of hours drive.
The room was exceptionally clean. It was an easy check in. The staff were really friendly. Rates were great. Was nearby to shops, the barwon river and only a 5 minute drive to Geelong center. There was very minimal noise. The electric blanket definitely a bonus and so too was the heated lights in the bathroom. The playground and jumping pillow was a hit with my child. The BBQS were also clean and located right by the playground which was handy. A stunning location. I will definitely be back for a longer stay and will recommend.
Close to Geelong Waterfront and city center with views of the bay. Also close to Botanical Gardens.
Some people may not like the 'retro' look of the place as it hasn't had any updates since built in about 1950!! Ohh! It does have reverse cycle air con!! There is a gas heater that works very well too.
However, everything works just fine anyway, and the price reflects the fact that you are not getting anything ultra-modern, but you are getting a great location!
Really lovely hotel / serviced apartment. The facilities are very clean and well-looked after. The location is probably the best. A short walk to the forefront with great swimming, and turn the other way and you're in Geelong CBD. A coffee machine is a nice touch. We were 1 adult and 2 kids in the loft apartment and we were very comfortable.
We have stayed here many times over the past 6+ years when visiting Geelong. Great location for us. Pub/bottle shop next door, Woolies across the road, takaway pizza and Chinese food on the corner and only a few minutes to the train station and CBD. Always clean rooms with comfy beds. It's not the Ritz but at $130 you can't go wrong!
Room was lovely and clean and very roomy. Great location to walk to restaurants. Had a lovely afternoon at the Elephant and Castle Hotel, pub with great character and entertaining live music. Excellent evening meal at the Geelong Hotel, highly recommend both facilities and all within walking distance of accommodation.
Room was large and spacious for our family.
Close proximity to the Geelong City Centre. Kmart and fast food nearby.
Management allowed us to leave one car in car park after checkout, as parking was limited at Deakin University Waterfront campus. We collected early afternoon. Much appreciated.
The location is terrific, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room itself, is very spacious. Fantastic views of eastern beach and greater Geelong. The pool was a very welcomed facility as it was a very hot day, when we arrived.
This room was an okay size wise and the motel was in a good location within walking distance to the CBD and waterfront. The staff were friendly. On site guest laundry always handy. The daily housekeeping was always done nice and early.
The location was excellent, very scenic, everything that you would need for a comfortable stay was provided. We have travelled extensively 401 Pier Point rated better than many 5 star International hotels. Thanks to our host Paul.
We really liked the staff and the quality of the food. There was a lot of convenience in having room service. The view was amazing in our upgraded room. It was also a very clean hotel room. We also liked the pillows
Excellent hotel with new high quality fixtures and fittings in room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. friendly helpful staff. Good location in the Botanical gardens. Very central to Geelong.
we needed to stay back 30 minutes, it was just unfortunate that this has been one of the only hotels we stayed in that charged us to stay the extra 30 minutes. $20 as well.
