So easy to get to. Very comfortable beds, and excellent showers. A great little getaway for two mums who needed a well deserved break after 2020. Love that it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Cosy, but plenty of room. Will be back for sure.

Daylesford is good any time of year. Especially nice in Autumn. The Lake was beautiful with the sun on it and autumn leaves falling photographic. Wombat Hill gardens were lovely as was Hepburn Springs. Jackie's on Vincent is one of our favourite place to eat and we weren't disappointed.
Nice range of shops and historical buildings from the gold rush era. The Historical Society and Museum run by Volunteers is really informative and great.

Lovely country town, everybody helpful and friendly,...
Lovely country town, everybody helpful and friendly, especially at the hotel. Great little shopping and restaurants, cafes, etc. Beautiful scenery and surrounding areas. unfortunately we didn't have time to visit any spas, but will definitely go again.
The only downfall was the taxi service, which we had ordered to take us to my daughter's wedding. It didn't turn up, and after many phone calls, finally out hotel manager got one for us. Ditto when we left the reception, didnt show. Worse, was the limo that my son-in-in law had organised to take him and my daughter to their accommodation, didn't show after the reception. So everybody left, and they were left standing. Had to get a friend to come and get them, Spoilt a lovely day for them, as he had planned a romantic surprise. No real apology from the company, just refunded the money.

Daylesford is a Rural Victoria gem, filled with art galleries and great shopping, but most of all an awesome atmosphere where everyone is welcomed. The springs are closeby and wellness spas are abundant, as are a host of other attractions, but you will need transport (car/motorbike) to make the most of it.
The annual Pride ChillOut festival over the long labour day weekend is a must, a weekend filled with a host of events and where all the Daylesford businesses get involved. A truly magical time.

It was easy to spend 3 days in Daylesford visiting galleries, parks and the lake area. The food was excellent at the cafes and restaurants I visited, especially The Farmers Arms Hotel which also had a lovely outdoor area. If you’re into second hand shopping, you must visit the Mill Market and op shops too!

Daylesford is a gorgeous country town...not too big and not too small. Great cafes and restaurants. Gorgeous scenery. Lovely community and service is outstanding. Recommend it for a relaxing break.
Quiet beautiful location! Close enough to town but far enough away to enjoy quiet time. Despite the cold still able to make the most of it by the warm heater & local coffee! Upon entering the house in the evening it was dimly lit with quiet music playing - felt very inviting! Self check in & out made this a very easy calm experience.
The best part is being able to experience this country luxury with our dog!
Lovely spot on edge of town with paddocks and kangaroos. But only a 2 minute drive from the main street of Daylesford. Lovely garden area and lots of birds. Owners live in adjoining part of cottage and we met them briefly. They were friendly but were respectful of privacy and made us feel very comfortable using table/chairs in garden area. Fire was nice and enjoyed a very comfortable 2 nights.
The place itself was super lovely and the owners had set up a nice fire for us upon arrival as well as complimentary wine. The house was also already warmed which was amazing because it was very cold in Daylesford. Overall just a very clean, homey space and perfect location to visit the town and Hepburn Bathhouse. Everything was within a 5-10 min drive.
Beautiful eclectic property in the heart of Daylesford. Feels very private and relaxing. The restaurant, bar and courtyard are great. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the open fire in the restaurant was a welcome addition on a foggy winter’s night. The hotel houses the Endota Spa :). We loved our stay!
The location was central to everything. The room was comfortable although the airconditioner was a little noisy. We had dinner in the bistro downstairs and the meal was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel as a must stay if visiting Daylesford. Excellent value for money.
Nice cosy house within walking distance to the main shopping precinct of Daylesford.
House was clean and comfortable, and host put the heating on prior to our arrival which was greatly appreciated. Loved that the house was dog friendly.
We had an enjoyable stay at Birdie.
Thanks

Such a beautiful cottage in the heart of Daylesford! It was warm inside thanks to a lovely fire. The house was spotless on arrival. The bath was spacious and perfect to relax in after a long day. Had a homely feel to it :)
the house was everything we needed, extremely comfortable, warm and inviting. we have stayed as a group of school friends at many locations and this is by far the most beautiful property. attention to detail was fantastic.
Basic Accommodation that has everything you need. The continental breakfast was good. Location was Excellent. Staff were very helpful. It was very cold when we stayed in Daylesford and the room was very cozy and warm.
Albert Cottage is in the best location, just a few steps from the Main Street. The house is spacious and beds are very comfortable. Great that it’s pet friendly.
The house is very comfortable and cosy. The garden is beautiful as well. The spa was the perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring the region.
