Toowoomba is a great place to go if you enjoy the outdoors.A variety of spacious parks, beautiful gardens, great markets and plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops.
Weather can be cooler being at a high point though worth the view.

My accomodation at the met hotel the place is not what it is advertising. In Toowoomba be aware you must have funds for parking.thete is no free parking on offer. Also be aware youth crime rate high do not keep valuables in full vision. Do not walk arround on your own of evening Toowoomba is a really good place for shopping and eateries. I would recommend the post office hotel or coffee club for a good coffee and egg Benny

Toowoomba is great.
Toowoomba is great. Smaller than the likes of Brisbane city, but bigger than the average country town. I'm a fan, we'll be back.
Toowoomba is very easy to navigate, being mostly laid out in a grid pattern. Easy to walk around the heart of the city for shopping and food.

It’s very diverse, lots of sightseeing, plenty of places to go and eat. The Asian gardens are at their best in spring and autumn as they are my favourite time of year.
Has some great places to go shopping. Once of the main road through town the side streets look pretty with all the jacaranda trees that have been growing for over a hundred plus years.
If you want to see them in full bloom then visit for the yearly flower festival held every spring.

Toowoomba is a great town.
Toowoomba is a great town.
I love the way that it has retained much of it's heritage and feel of being a big country town rather than a city.
Locals are friendly and helpful, streets are wide and parking is easy.
I will be back...

Toowoomba is a beautiful city, especially if you are partial to trees and gardens. In addition to this there is more than enough shopping and some amazing views. Plus the cafe scene is well stocked and bars are all over the place! Certainly worth the trip.
The location was great as Ruthven street is a main street in Toowoomba and if you drive either up or down it you find supermarkets, The CBD and easy route to out of town places you want to visit. There is also a Chinese restaurant right over the side street from the units. It was amazing to have a really good breakfast supplied each morning in a dining room which reminded me of life in the 1900s when people stayed in hotels with meals supplied! Very nice indeed.
The apartments are lovely, super new, beautiful furniture and premium amenties. We were travelling for a funeral and it was a great respite at the end of long days and very warm with central airconditioning so we had great nights sleep in lovely beds. Good to have secure parking, easy check out, would stay again and was ready to move in! Also lovely view over Toowoomba, felt like you were somewhere else. The cafe downstairs was good and convenient too.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Vacy Hall Toowoomba's Grand Boutique Hotel. The accomodation was first class, lovely old building with many period features and furniture. Our host and staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms although a little small reflect the era and were well appointed. The breakfast (on the balcony) was excellent with generous serves, Finally a great location within easy walking to the local restaurants and shops etc.
This older style Motor Inn was a very pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast was plentiful and a great way to start the day. The room (and common areas) were spotlessly clean, and the bed very comfortable. It is well located near the Toowoomba Base Hospital and a short drive from town. We thought it was very good value for money.
True older style units BUT the cleanest we have stayed in for some time now. Comfy bed great shower preasure. All staff friendly can't complement them enough. Stayed twice this mth + another booking for the end of August + I will add probably the cheapest in Toowoomba. Close to shops + eateries, what more can we say. Well done, Management + Staff 🥰🥰🥰
The property was spotlessly clean and all beds very comfy. It was very central to Toowoomba cbd. The check in and out process worked really well. The hosts left extra treats for us to enjoy which was a lovely welcome gift. The hosts were very quick to answer any questions via email. We look forward to staying here again one day.
The location is fantastic and the hotel offers a little luxury compared to some of the other motels in the area. Walking distance to everything at a reasonable price, great service and all of the amenities you need. In the vicinity of local shopping, theatres, bars and cafes without having to get in the car.
I have been staying here off and on for work and the place is excellent. The owners are really nice, comfy bed, quiet and clean. Highly recommend for anyone coming to Toowoomba. It's walking distance to some nice restaurants, bars and takeaway too.
Asked to move from first room, small and dirty, second room was bigger, good location, breakfast was collect from reception, two pieces of bread to toast in your room, no staff there to help. A cheap price, but felt overpriced now.
The property exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, comfortable, well-appointed - just delightful really. Would be a great place to stay for an extended visit to Toowoomba. Will definitely stay again!
The location was perfect. The hotel is located close to the main road into Toowoomba and has plenty of choises of food outlets close by. The hotel also has its own great restaurant which we enjoyed.
The room was clean and comfortable. A bonus was plenty of hanging rails and a hook in the bathroom. The motel is convenient to the Toowoomba CBD in an attractive are of the city.
