As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guesthouses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.
Busy, bustling place with lots to see and do. Trendy docklands, the Old Town with its square and Cathedral. The Het Stein castle, a remnant of medieval times, art galleries for art buffs, a museum dedicated to the diamond trade, fashion museum. Lots of places to eat to suit all pockets and more varieties of beer than you can imagine! The main train station is spectacular and the only triple decker station I have ever seen. Cheap trams work well once you suss the routes, bicycles to hire everywhere.
Loved it!

Take the walking/cycling tunnel under the river - great experience and a lovely walk along the left bank.
If you are in Antwerp on Saturday or Sunday, I highly recommend the Handelsbeurs - stunning architecture and interesting history.

If you're flying into Antwerp, I highly recommend paying a visit to a restaurant located approximately a 15-minute walk from the airport called "Jardin Public". From there, you can catch a tram to the Central Station. In my opinion, the highlights of the trip were definitely the Central Station and the Central Square.
Getting around Antwerp is fairly easy, but you also have the option to rent bicycles or use electric scooters. For dinner, we opted for The Eleventh Commandment / Elfde Gebod and were impressed by the delicious food and speedy service.
I would have loved to extend my stay if possible; perhaps a minimum of a 3-day trip would be ideal. On the return journey to the airport, I opted to take an Uber for convenience.

Lovely historic centre, quiet and so easy to get around on foot.
Really enjoyed the Plantine Moretus Museum, the riverside walk, The Museum of Fine Arts.
Found some great places to eat, all with friendly helpful staff
The hotel has a unique location with a 2 minutes distance to Antwerp Berchem station, which is 4 minutes away from Antwerp, and 15 minutes from Mechelen, half an hour from the airport. All in all, a very good pack for business travel with a nice lobby, very well designed - and new - rooms. The restaurant of the hotel was full with people from the outside at lunch time... Which is understandable because the set menu they served was exceptionally good, and this was really surprizing. The hotel team is also very helpful and cheerful...
Yust exceeded my expectations. From Antwerp-Berchen station I took bus 30 in perron 2 and in 10 minutes I was at the hotel. From the kind reception, to the modern decoration, to the facilities, comfort of the bed, shared kitchen to the technologies applied in the place, they left me with the certainty that on another trip to Antwerp, I will stay there again. I stayed in a female room and it was very quiet. The other guests were quiet and sharing the bathroom was not a problem. Congratulations to the Yust designers!
Perfect location for exploring the city, without being overwhelmed with the typical 'city centre hustle and bustle' There's some great restaurant's near by, especially the authentic Chinese selection beside the hotel. They range from functionary to smart and special, but all are authentic and original.
This was a business trip, so it's location is perfect for meeting guests, as the Hotel is right opposite the Antwerpen Centraal, which is the magnificent main train station for Antwerp.
Breakfast was cooked perfectly and lovingly served, but lets face it, you don't stay at this hotel for its breakfast.
The decor of this hotel is stunning! We were lucky enough to be upgraded and stayed in room 9 with its quirky and uber cool interior design. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome and looked after.
The hotel is in a great location to see all the sites of Antwerp and only a 15min walk from our arrival at the beautiful train station.
The hotel is located next to the central train station, which was very convenient as I arrived to Antwerp by train. It is well connected to other parts of the city and at a walking distance to the very centre of the old town.
The staff was very friendly and forthcoming (we were able to check in early).
The breakfast was varied and the breakfast room very pleasant.
I also liked the bed with a mattress firm enough to offer sufficient support - I had a relaxing sleep.
5 star location, every attraction was within walking distance. 5mins walk away from bus stop, around 10mins walk from central station. 3-5mins away from a convenience store.
5 star for the overall design amd concept of the hotel. Very comfortable and safe. Perfect for a short-term stay. Easy instructions to self-check in and out. Exactly as the pictures.
Will definitely stay here again, I recommend this hotel to anyone who's thinking in visiting Antwerp.
this was our first time in Antwerp and we really had a wonderful time. The property is very close to the train station which we were happy about the hotel was a great value. It was a bit of a walk to the old city, but we loved Antwerp and enjoyed every minute. The hotel was super clean very customer oriented and had the right amenities. We had free coffee in the lobby. Nice coffee maker in our room. Wonderful shower.
The decor was beautiful and the architecture was so interesting. The owners were so friendly and helpful, giving us pointers about Antwerp and making reservations for us. The breakfast was so generous, delicious and elegant. The property is located out of the tourist area and in an area where you can see local life, yet it was a short walk to Antwerp Centraal train station.
- The hotel is suitable for visiting Antwerp for 1-2 nights
- Particularly convenient in this regard is the location near the station (5 minutes on foot) and the opportunity to wait for the train in an excellent lobby bar
- Good renovation (although sometimes it could be cleaned better)
100 metres from Antwerp station with very large and comfortable rooms: excellent value for such a location! Across the road is a line of food options of varying ethnicity and value. Central location and handy hotel map made it very easy to find and visit the sights around Antwerp.
Nice small boutique hotel in central Antwerp. Could walk to shopping, restaurants and tourist sites. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Bath was great! I liked the 'homey' feeling, plus great breakfasts.
I've enjoyed my stay at the Park Inn Hotel, near the station of Berchem Antwerp. The service was excellent, the staff was very helpfull, the hotel is super clean, rooms were incredible. For me the hotel is 10/10! (Genius member of Booking.com)
Nice rooms (we could use 2), tastefully furnished. Bio breakfast a la carte. Walking distance to Grote Markt. Otherwise bikes to loan are available opposite the hotel! Superfriendly host with loads of tips for our visit to Antwerp.
The location is great. Just go straight from the train station with 5mins, you can arrive hotel. It is also easy to walk to the center of Antwerp or talk metro. Btw, there are supermarkets nearby.
Very nice sweet modern hotel with a very nice breakfast room, the rooms and sanitary facilities are really clean and nice, not to small and just right for a day or two spending in Antwerpen
The location & cleanliness. Hotel is walkable from the Antwerp Centraal Station, made our trips in other Schengen areas to & from Antwerp easy to manage. Cleanliness is superb. Thank you.
Just like the hotel's name suggests, it's a budget location, which made it a perfect stop in Antwerp. The room is clean and quiet. The hotel is within walking distance from the old town.
amazing location right by Antwerp Central station. you can tell the hotel is a bit outdated, but the facilities work just fine, with comfortable beds and a nice shower
