Coleman, for us, has just been a good place to break a journey from central BC into Alberta. Coleman is 15-20 minutes in all directions from fantastic lakes and hiking. Sparsely populated, which I seek. Blairmore is only a few minutes away on the highway, and between the 2 towns one can find all services and food choices. The Crowsnest past was built on coal mining. The charming History of this old Coal mining town west of the Frank Slide. Plenty to see and do in this most southerly area of Alberta. Great fishing!
