This is the first time I have been to Rocky Mountain.
This is the first time I have been to Rocky Mountain. It was just lovely. It was bigger than I expected. So clean and so much to see. We took a little tour to Crimson Lake and what a beautiful area. If you camp there are tons of camping places. It was a real gem to find. I will recommend it to all my camping friends. I hope to go back and stay longer. My husband was on a canoeing trip, it will be something he does again. Just loved it all.Guest review byPamCanada - 6.0

Small Alberta town, hard hit with the economic downturn I am sure. Has all the basics. Very nice, friendly people. Quaint main street, but many stores closed and gone. They do have a little theatre. It's on the main road and outside the city. It's well priced, and I chose the location for this reason as accommodation in Jasper is excessively costly. Rocky Mountain House is perhaps wrongly named because it's far from the mountains. The room had aircon, which was nice as it was hot weather. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean. We were on the main level and close to the entrance which was nice for my mom with a bit of mobility issues.
