I cannot begin to explain how perfect our stay was. The staff were so excellent and helped with everything. Excellent quite location- but you will need an ATV or a car to get up the steep hill! the views and seclusion are well worth it. Best stay we could have asked for!

Staying at surf camp was such a lovely experience! I appreciated the gorgeous views waking up in the open air Rancho, the gym and pool area were so well kept, and the people and vibes were immaculate! I was hoping to find a quiet spot in the heart of the South West peninsula and surf camp was it!

Americanized beach town. Crowded waters to surf. Really bad infrastructure, roads are bad, no sidewalks and caos in traffic.
The beach itself is very beautiful and the waves are nice. Just the vibe is either you love it or you hate it.

Santa Teresa for us was a completely disastrous in terms of development. I cannot even imagine anyone wanting to live there. The scenery once you get beyond the mishmash of stores 3 centimeters from the really poor roads is wonderful. It is a surfer place and nothing more. I would not ever go back for any reason

Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach.
Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach. There are so many places to eat that have great food. Santa Teresa does not feel as crowded as some other beaches in Costa Rica, and I honestly feel very safe there. I would highly recommmend this place.

The property is amazing.
The property is amazing. The pool is super cute, the rooms are spacious and modern.
BUT the Beach Club/Restaurant charged us for things we didn’t order. We will always pay for everything we eat and drink but when things are added on our bills that we didn’t consume, we regretfully are super bitter. The hotel is looking into it and said they will get back to us. They have t yet.
Also, they advocate that they are an adult only hotel but there were kids at the restaurant and at pool.

Wooden shacks with corrugated metal roofs along a dusty dirt road. Restaurants use camping-style kitchens and where they get their groceries with absolutely no decent food market within at least two hours driving is their secret. There is absolutely no sewage system anywhere. Everyone just has a whole in the ground they call ‘septic system’. Just steps from the beach !! Would be interesting to have the water quality tested..

Lovely.
Lovely. Beautiful beach with soft sand, wonderful sunsets, great waves, a lot of nature.
A bit too many people (lots of surfers) and cars in some parts, but great offer in terms of cafes, restaurants, yoga and surf lessons.

Perfectly located near the beach and to all bars and restaurants around. It is lovely decorated and the beds were very comfy and big. The staff was very friendly and kind and the owner gave me the best recommendations for Surfing and vegan restaurants (there are a lot) and for exploring Santa Teresa. Both owners were very kind and caring. Also the people around were very open-minded and it was easy to connect. The best was the two doggos, such cute and lovely beings. Gonna miss them!
It was the best hotel out of all I stayed in Santa Ana! It looks much better in real life than in photos. Major plus is the rooms are far away from the road, so you hear the ocean instead of car engines. Beautiful area, pool, animals in the trees. Super nice staff, helpful, accommodating and friendly. The room is decorated in warm, pleasant colours, very comfy and nice. It was as expensive as any place in Santa Teresa, but in this case the price felt (somewhat) justified.
Had the most amazing time with my partner in Santa Teresa. Hotel Beunos Aires is lovely with stunning views, a lovely breakfast each morning. Javi and Flo were fantastic hosts and very accommodating. Rooms were clean. One thing to consider is the hill you need to climb to get to the rooms, we didn't mind as it kept us in good shape :D, just one thing to consider if you chose to stay here :) We will definitely be coming back! Thank you :D
The property was very cute and is surrounded by nature and lush greenery. The pool is small but was nice during the day, and we were lucky enough to see a troop of capuchin monkeys stop by to get a drink of water from the pool. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants along Santa Teresa. Extremely walkable area if you don't mind getting in some cardio when climbing back up the steep hill to the property.
Very friendly staff, good vibes all day long, close to an amazing beach, good A/C in the room, nice common spaces, beautiful property. The best supermarket is around the corner. Free coffee in the mornings was a nice touch.
Staff organised a fun bonfire on the beach during my stay and had plans for more excursions later in the week as well.
Super friendly vibe in what we found to be the best part of Santa Teresa
Amazing location located a short walk from the beach and other fun restaurants and shops! Beautiful tropical plants everywhere, and a very comfortable stay. The staff working here went above and beyond our expectations, as they even helped drive us around to retrieve our missing bag and car keys! Highly recommend this stay if you are looking for a fun and safe environment for your trip to Santa Teresa.
So much to LOVE. The gorgeous view that you can enjoy watching from your room's hammock. The owners, Javier and Flo, are the sweetest and so helpful. Javier was always willing to help from booking me airport taxi pick up to helping learn how to ride my ATV quad. He's such a lovely person. The room is always cleaned and comfortable! This isn't a 5 star hotel, but fantastic stay at a great price. 8.5/10
The hotel is one block away from the beach which is so convenient. Great restaurant called El Carmen close by!
The hotel was so cute! Great pool and breakfast service. The food was incredible, it just took a little while but that's okay. The room was spacious, great bathroom and great AC. The staff was so kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santa Teresa.
Incredibly clean, modern accommodation with incredibly accommodating staff. Lovely pool and great location to two of Santa Teresa’s best restaurants, Koji and Katana. Just two minutes from the beach, and near great breakfast spots like the Bakery and Bali Café. The hosts organised airport accommodation for us and provided great recommendations on things to do. Would absolutely stay again.
Pleasantly surprised by these apartments! Great central location across the road from walking access to Playa Santa Teresa. Really spacious apartment with large bathroom and kitchen area. Lovely balcony with a hammock. Parking on site. Hosts were on site & very obliging. Would recommend for great value stay in Santa Teresa.
We went with my boyfriend to Santa teresa for holidays and we stayed in the rooftop room of the hotel and it was the most magical place. We had our little paradise with the most amazing view and outdoor shower. The room was very clean and the owner was really nice and accomodating. We highly recommend this place
Host was very welcoming and helpful. Location is perfect, really close to the main road of Santa Teresa and the beach is also only a 5-10 minute walk away.
Upstairs bed was super comfy and the room was very spacious. Although we didn’t use it, the pool was an added bonus. Secure, gated parking also available.
Loved the design and felt like my own private villa at times. Beautiful gardens and wildlife. Loved my white hammock and the linen sheets, bed was really comfy. Breakfast was nice. A bit further up the road so not as noisy as some areas in Santa Teresa. Overall enjoyed my stay here a lot....an oasis of calm 🙂
Super nice and clean. The staff was very helpfull with everything. Would recommend if you want a quiet and beautiful place to stay, but I also recommend renting an ATV, as the distances trough Santa Teresa Main Street is long (but close to the beach), and Taxi is really expensive here.
awesome property at the north end of Santa Teresa. short walk to the beach.
Best restaurant in the area 300 meters away (TP8). The massage ladies were out of this world!
Sophia is a great host! very attentive and caring about your stay.
Staff are very helpful and welcoming, helped organise shuttles
Room is very tidy, very quiet location and is far enough from the dusty road of Santa Teresa
Great location for surfing on the nearby beach
The location is amazing to surf Santa Teresa beach. There are some nice places to eat nearby and the kitchen at the hostel is well equiped. It’s great place to hang out and meet people too.
