Most tourist attractions are grouped in a few locations mostly on one line, so you can go through them alĺ in 1-2 days. Don't rely on Google maps in Berlin. The information on roads and places is not always up to date. Train schedules are confused. Weather forecasts keep changing and you do not know really what to expect. It is a big city with many cultural and natural sites to be visited. At least a 4 days plan would be ideal to have a full idea. There are so many options for spending relaxing times in green nature and also by the lakes. Public transport is easy to use.

I really enjoyed Berlin, such an enigmatic city.
I really enjoyed Berlin, such an enigmatic city. The modern history that exudes from this city with its involvement with World Wars 1 and 2 and subsequently the Cold War are fascinating. Bars, restaurants, coffee houses intermingled with centres of cultural greatness. A public transport system that makes visiting every corner of Berlin a breeze. Add to this the river Spree running through the centre with people just enjoying life make Berlin a must return to city destination.

Amazing city to visit, the culture, the sites, the history it was all great, the only disappointing thing i would say is i could not see some of the sites as Euro Cup is on and because of security reasons some of the sites where barrier-ed off so sad.

Very interesting city. We met mostly laid back sound people, apart from one or two staff in the very touristy areas that were a bit jaded. Spandau old town just outside the city is worth a visit. Tram station is just opposite tot he hotel and with a 9-euro ticket (special for tourists from June, July and August - it can be bought from metro machines for tickets) you can travel whole Berlin and regional trains from whole Germany.
