Located near central Germany, Frankfurt is not simply the beating heart of the country, it’s also the lifeblood of the European Union.
The German Federal Bank and the European Central Bank are based here, so naturally this is a city where commerce thrives. In fact, the skyline is so punctuated by skyscrapers that Frankfurt is affectionately known as Mainhattan, a pun on the Main River that slowly meanders through the city.
Lining its banks is Museumsufer, a district with over 20 museums including Goethe’s birthplace and the Frankfurt Historical Museum. The tower of the Gothic-style Frankfurt Cathedral, which played an important role in the Holy Roman Empire, has impressive views of it all.
In the shadow of the modernist architecture remain traces of quintessential Germany. The reconstructed half-timbered facades in Römer square are picture perfect, and the cobbled streets of Fressgass are always full of locals deciding which café to dine at.
Served by Frankfurt Airport - one of the world’s busiest - this pumping city is always on the move. This means that hotels in Frankfurt get booked up pretty quickly, so book early with Booking.com to secure the accommodations of your choice.
Only the suburbs is worthy a visit. In the city centre, it was crowded with junkies, beggars and trash. Oriental teenagers try to find conflicts with you anywhere. And the main station is literally a drug lab with dealing and consuming people. The folk is generally unfriendly and you can hear sirens nonstop because whether some crimes or some emergencies continuously happen. Shortened: don’t go to Frankfurt for vacations.

The taxi drivers have become deplorable. Arrogant, not willing to assist elderly/ill passengers, and ill informed on locations.
Love Frankfurt for its cleanliness, abundance of trees, good maintenance and diversity of architecture.

Frankfurt is a great and fun city.
Frankfurt is a great and fun city. We were there for 7 days- 3 days were for a tango dance marathon at La Cuerda. The other 4 days were shopping and sight seeing for me, and work related days at the University for my husband. Our trip coincided with a running marathon. Lots of folks, lots of activity. So much fun. We ate Italian, Indian and German foods. Getting around Frankfort- very easy. I walked everywhere. My husband took the tram easily. We took Uber and taxi to and from the airport. Everyone we met was friendly and gracious. Hint- learn a few basic German salutations before you go.

Frankfurt is a beautiful city, except around Frankfurt HBF.
Frankfurt is a beautiful city, except around Frankfurt HBF. The area around the station, in my opinion, has fallen on hard times and I would not recommend walking alone at night around the area. Besides that the city is beautiful, clean, and a joy to visit.

It’s ok for traveler walk in busy the location is good for walking but too much nosiy and alot of drug sellers and dealers inviting you not good for family or business man the hotel there like I stay in EXPO HOTEL MAIN FRANK FURT
was too much noisy in the area a lot of music and party people noise and also Resturent below hotel and opposite so too much noisy area for relaxing or comfort or safety better to stay away from the area
Location is very convenient, just a short, 5 minutes walk to Frankfurt's main train station, 15 minutes to downtown (St. Paul church, the cathedral, Zeil, etc.) and easy access to public transportation. Its also located in front of the river, where a bridge allows you to walk to Sachsenhausen and gives you access to a nice promenade. The hotel staff is very helpful, professional and helpful, they provide many good indications and useful tips to move around the city, all with a friendly attitude.
The hotel is located in the living area of Frankfurt, 20 min by car to the city center, not many shops around, and a small gas station nearby. Although our room was tiny, it was super clean and neat. Parking places are super secure. For 1-2 nights absolutely great!
To speed up the hotel checking, they are sending an online check-in link similar to airplane checking, which was very cool and appreciated since we came with a sleeping baby late at night.
- good service - friendly and welcoming staff
- convenient for airport- perfect location near airport for short transit and short walk to train station that is just one stop away from airport
- very clean. bathroom a bit small but if you’re just there to transit for the night near the airport then it’s fine and just enough
- restaurant downstairs is very convenient
- reasonable price compared to other hotels that are that close to the airport
Small but very well designed studio apartments with everything you could need. Although more pricey than some hotels, if you're staying more than a few days it works out a lot cheaper as you can prepare your own food. Everything's very comfortable, there are plenty of amenities, including a lounge and workout rooms, and it's a ten minute walk into the heart of Frankfurt's old city centre. Plus the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The Hotel was very central which made the Christmas Markets and the town center only a few minutes walk away. The trams and train lines are also beside the hotel which would give you easy access to travelling around the city and on to the airport. The staff were very friendly and easily helped us with any queries we had. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to Frankfurt.
The breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold items. The offerings included local German pastries. It's always nice for the buffet to include more than typical American choices. The location is convenient to the airport and train station. There's a nice selection of fast casual restaurants that are co-located if you don't want to eat at the hotel or take the train into Frankfurt.
Super hotel, an exceptional level of service, I’m
always welcomed with a smile and the experience is seamless. The hotel itself is modern and well appointed. I stay in a Level room and the additional services are very, very good. It’s perfectly located in Frankfurt Westend within easy walking distance of the business district, the Oper and the old town. Highly recommended!
Although the location is a bit outside the city, the nearby tram station, just 100 meters away with a frequent schedule, makes it convenient. We were drawn to the hotel for its stylish and modern interior, which holds true both inside and outside the building. The pricing is reasonable compared to other expensive and outdated hotels in Frankfurt's city center.
The hotel was perfect for our one night stay arriving in Frankfurt connecting to a departing flight the next day.
We ate at dinner in the hotel restaurant when we arrived. The next morning we had a very nice complementary breakfast and the hotel shuttle back and forth to the airport was just what we needed.
The hotel was amazing quiet. Pin drop silence, and it’s at an airport. The engineering is amazing!! Also, bathroom shower pressure was a 10! Amenities a 10. Highly recommend if traveling through frankfurt. Oh did I say the breakfast was also a 10. Good options and very clean and fresh.
The location is good. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away on foot from the hotel. The same goes for the tram station. You can take the tram and then switch to get to downtown Frankfurt. This takes approximately 30 minutes. The breakfast was good. The room quite was large but dated.
The hotel hosts were simply terrific!! They were warm and helpful and take great pride in their hotel. The morning breakfasts were fantastic and the rooms were well appointed and a good size. The property was within walking distance to downtown Frankfurt. Great stay!!
Everything was just perfect, the room, the facilities, the gym. I also liked the location of the hotel- close to Messe and a big shopping center, you can also get to the old city center in no time. Would definitely recommend this for a comfortable stay in Frankfurt.
Location right near train station - if you come from airport for one night it's just perfect place to stay. Very kind receptionist. Good breakfast. Central part just 15-20 minutes of fine walking. Even managed to get a beer in hotel's bar at around 23 PM
The location was great, especially if traveling by train. Even though the hotel is close to the Frankfurt main railway station the hotel is located on a peaceful street.
Both the River Main and the city center can be found within walking distance.
The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was way beyond what I expected for a budget hotel in the city centre. I would definitely recommend this hotel, near tram stops to get to old town & very near main station for airport access.
We had an early flight so staying at Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt was a no brainer. Very clean, safe and comfortable. Airport shuttle every 20 min 24/7. Highly recommend. Very nice reception as well.
Nice boutique hotel in central Frankfurt, 7 mins walk from the central station and 5-10 mins walk from the city centre.
Decent spec rooms for the money, nice bathroom, quiet and clean rooms.
As always, Best Western airport Frankfurt hotel is more than pleasant stay. Convinient to both Terminals, quite, clean.
The stuff is very friendly and ready to help.
