Although it might seem impossible, Santa Eularia des Riu is the perfect spot to have a more relaxed atmosphere without completely forgetting that you’re still on Ibiza. Walk up the winding streets to reach the top of Puig de Missa hill, where the fortified church that used to offer refuge from pirates can still provide a relaxing vantage point to look over the crystalline sea. The popular markets of Es Canar and Sant Carles are reminiscent of the times when the area became a hippie mecca.

Lots of good places to eat.
Lots of good places to eat. I was there to celebrate a friend's landmark birthday, and we found a variety of good cuisine and some interesting places within easy walking distance. Quite quiet. Lots of choice for restaurants in town. Laid-back atmosphere. Felt safe. Lots of family activity in town centre. Bus station handy for getting round island. I really enjoyed how peaceful and serene it was. There were numerous restaurants to choose from and the Marina is very close by. The beach was very close so we were able to enjoy the water everyday. The hotel offers everything you need and has a very very friendly and competent staff at the reception! I had all my documents, cell phone etc. stolen in Ibiza, the hotel really did EVERYTHING to help me. Therefore definitely more than two stars has earned the staff at the reception, both young ladies and gentlemen. Avril deserves a special mention!
