This smart, 5-star hotel is set in 3 contemporary buildings on Isla de Cartuja, a 5-minute drive from Seville’s city center.

FAQs about hotels in Seville

Hot by Day, Hotter by Night

Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.

People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.

The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.

But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.

Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

Really enjoyed visiting the Cathedral, Giralda and Alcazar.

Really enjoyed visiting the Cathedral, Giralda and Alcazar. Lovely areas to explore - Triana etc. Don't miss Las Setas - fab views from here - and it is illuminated at night too. The bullring was very interesting too - even if you aren't into bullfighting. Lots of lovely tapas bars in the little streets between the cathedral and the river. You just need to wander and just end up where you end up! You can really get around on foot - although we did opt for the horse and carriage ride on our first day as an alternative to the Red Tour buses. The boat tour was ok - nothing special though so might give that one a miss if you are pushed for time. Would go again and wander around the Plaza de Espana and parque Maria Luisa more as just ran out of time. Also we did a day trip to Cordoba whilst here - a long day but worth it. Would thoroughly recommend Getyourguide to prebook any attractions as otherwise queues could be lengthy and you might miss out.

Beautiful architecture and historical buildings., vegetation and shopping opportunities. It was too hot , however I would recommend it anyway. Definitely buy tickets online for Cathedral and Alcazar on time, they sold very quickly and hou will wait less in line. Stay in Old town, more interesting for walking around and everything is within 20-30 min walking distance. Next time to visit in spring or autumn, probably less tourists around and better weather conditions.

Seville is an astounding city, entire of attractions, big enough for at least a four-day stay, considering all the options one might have, only spending time in it or its near surroundings. One major problem is the extremely large number of tourists gathering around all the time, which makes a simple walk sometimes an adventure, especially if you go in the "hot months". Talking to some of the locals, they strongly suggested visiting mainly in the months of April to June (first days) and from the middle of September.

    Seville was beautiful!

Seville was beautiful! Great tapas restaurant but definitely do siesta as Seville sun is no joke around June between 12-5pm. Most business are closed for siesta so do plan around that. Be careful of ordering food as well and be more aggressive on saying no to something you are not sure of! We somehow got pressured into ordering more food at riconchillo restaurant doubling up every plate we ordered which turned out to be too much for 4 adults for just lunch and ended up paying 200+ euros which is highly expensive for just lunch! Besides that we love Casablanca as place was awesome and very honest in suggestions and right portion for the family! We love Miguel at Puerta principe who helped us tons on food recommendations to taxi transfers! Our trip was smoothly with very minimal hiccups. El pinton was also another great restaurant! Do plan on comfortable shoes and clothes as it’s very hot in June and lots of walking!

Our favorite stay so far in Spain! The unit was immaculate, bright, modern, and air conditioned. The beds were comfy and bedding was soft and of good quality. The central location was ideal, yet quiet. The kitchen was stylish, compact, but had all necessary amenities. They had drinks waiting for us in the refrigerator and some snacks as well. There were lockers available for us to use after our check out on our last day. The on-site superintendent was extremely helpful and friendly.

The location is unbeatable—just a very short walk to the river, the cathedral, the Alcázar and other points of interest. Yet the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. And the accommodations were far and away the nicest we have found in our month of traveling in Portugal and Spain. On top of that, the staff (Nuria in particular) was remarkably helpful and welcoming. If we return to Seville, we will definitely stay at this property again.

Really nice hotel in the heart of the Old Town of Seville, close to everything. The rooms are big enough and clean, and there also is a rooftop pool. Breakfast is also varied, although I would have preferred some more veggies, but that's a personal preference, not a drawback of any kind. However, the biggest asset of the hotel is the staff, which is always there to help.

The "queensize" bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together. The location was great, but Seville's streets are narrow, and Spaniards never seem to sleep, so the abundant noise down there was amplified up here. But that's not the Hostal's fault: it's like that everywhere in Spain.
