Great value. Nice modern clean room, a good size and well furnished. The location in perfect right in the centre of Calpe and a short walk from the bus station. Everything efficient and organised. The roof terrace was superb, a great space and with free coffee and snacks available, as well as the ability to prepare food and use of fridge. If only this was more common. Highly recommended.
Set in gardens and featuring an outdoor pool and sun terrace, Port Europa is a lively complex offering rooms and apartments on Calpe's seafront promenade.

Calpe was lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants. We had our Maltese pooch with us and he was made very welcome.
Plenty of lovely walks around, beautiful scenery, you need good comfortable shoes. We stayed in the Old Town, this was interesting and pretty. Shout out to a fabulous restaurant: El Santo in the old town, made us very welcome and lovely food. We found Calpe to be extremely clean and friendly. :)

We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to.
We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to. Les Bassetes has a lovely cafe/bar. The old town is great to walk around as is the port area.
Playa del Arenal-Bol seems to get mentioned a lot in articles on Calp but we enjoyed Platja de la Fossa. This is the "other side" of Ifach and has many cafes and shops.
And then of course there is Ifach itself. I recommend booking a day to visit before you leave home.
The tram enabled us to visit Benidorm, Altea and Denia.

Calpe, nestled on the Costa Blanca, feels like it’s straight...
Calpe, nestled on the Costa Blanca, feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. Let me share our impressions:
Picturesque Views: The town boasts a dramatic rocky headland and palm-dotted beaches, all kissed by the Mediterranean waters. It’s a visual treat for anyone who appreciates natural beauty.
Beachside and Harbor Delights: We found the beachside and harbor area to be the prettiest part of Calpe. Strolling along the waterfront, watching boats sway, and feeling the sea breeze—it was idyllic.
Avoiding Crowded Center: However, we’re not fans of the crowded central area and bustling promenade. For us, the quieter corners near the beach and port held more appeal.
In summary, Calpe offers a delightful blend of ancient history, scenic wonders, and modern comforts. Whether you’re a nature lover or seeking relaxation, this coastal gem has something to offer.

Plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Lovely walk to the Calpe rock. Easy car journey to Altea and Moraira.
Especially enjoyed walking uphill to the old town. Loved the restaurant "La Cena" and the "il Posit. Walking the sea front in Altea and up to the old church was super.

Calpe is the great place to come between December and March for as short as few days and as long as a month or so - especially if you're escaping from one of those dark, wet and cold places.
It was so nice to experience nice temperatures and see the big blue Spanish sky :)

There are buses so you can get around Calpe.
There are buses so you can get around Calpe. From the Hotel Ifach into the old town was not walkable so need bus or car. We didn't find much for eating out, mainly burgers, pastas, and pizzas. The lake was nice and , if you are fit enough, you could walk around the lake.
From the hotel Ifach to the nearest beach was just a few yards but the area was neglected and the paseo very dirty. The whole of Calpe is being developed at a great rate and all huge multi storey buildings. It is looking more like Benidorm. All the way up the surrounding mountains is also over developed spoiling any views of the mountains. Calpe is significantly changed and not for the better. We will not be going again.

On of the best places to stay, 30 meters to the beach, is exactly in the center of the Calpe, so you can choose any beach you want.
Lorena was amazing, she told us everything and if we have questions she respond fast.
In the back you have a place where you can see flamingos and they are very close to people.
The rooms was good, you have everything you need. (Shower gel, towels, etc)
It was very clean.
You have restaurants where you can eat everywhere around at good prices.
Very, very clean (one of the best I've ever stayed). Super friendly host. Nice kitchen with everything you need to cook, or just make coffee/tea/etc. Good bathroom (shower, no tub) with great water pressure. Lovely dining room table and nice chairs. We didn't use the TV or Wifi, but they were both there with instructions, etc. The location is good overall. Very close to Mercadona, which is handy. And about 10-15 minutes walking to most restaurants and the main beaches.
I know it’s a cliche, but everything! Our pleasant, comfortable and clean room on the seventh floor was reached by lift directly from the underground secure car park. Especially useful when you have a lot of luggage and have some mobility problems.
The view from our balcony was superb, breakfast provided an extensive choice and was delicious.
Unfortunately, we were only staying for one night on our way to southern Spain but we will definitely return.
It was amazing experience! I think one of the best ones! We are travelling a lot, and this house in Calpe (Cucarres) was extremely good, especially views and nature surrounding. We were 6 person and we had enough chairs and all kitchen utensils. There is a tram station near the village, so just in 8 mins you can get there walking from the house and then travel to Benidorm, Altea or just catch a bus to Calpe downtown.
We love this hotel, staff are among the best we have ever experienced, their attention to detail if exceptional and will always go the extra mile to help out. We always pay that little bit more and have a sea view. Facilities are great although we have never used the spa it looks amazing, Safe off road parking. Great location for town and beach. Breakfast is amazing with something and more for everyone.
I loved the way all the family had there own space and our own pool
And the views from the villa are lovely it’s so peaceful there to and for the money it’s great value
You need a car to get about or you can walk down to the tram station to get that in to Calpe or to Benidorm ,
Also we got a taxi from the train station to the beach front in Calpe and that would be €10
Very good location near the beach, restaurants & grocery. In a good part of Calpe. A bit dated pension but room & bathroom is efficient & comfortable. We had a balcony with sea view which was nice to enjoy. Shared kitchen facility. Good wifi. Parking nearby is available. It can be noisy from restaurants downstairs on the wknd night. Daily cleaning. Friendly local hosts.
Excellent variety at the breakfast buffet. Staff were always welcoming and helpful. There was lots of umbrellas around the pool for shade. Amenities supplied in bathroom/bedroom were a nice touch. There was a family vibe to the hotel. Although we did not travel with children there was a play area and entertainment for children in the evenings.
The location was excellent very close to shops and restaurants, the view was amazing one of the best, nice terrace, the pictures are exactly on what you receive, the facilities we're very good, the pool looked very nice and it has a private entrance to the beach.
Last, the AC worked perfectly!!
Great hotel..location perfect…booked one of the rooms at the front great view over the marina and Bay. Rooms and hotel spotlessly clean. Breakfast good selection on offer. All staff very helpful and professional. would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Calpe.
We loved our little home from Spain as we like to say. Good room size, we had two bedrooms, a living room with a small kitchen equipped with the essentials to handle cooking. For a family with small children it is a very important thing. Great value for money.
The hotel facilities are exceptional. The breakfast buffet is among the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel and I’ve been around the world quite a bit so what you have is an amazing hotel great staff, incredible facilities and amazing buffet.
Hotel is great, pool is nice. Maybe a little small for the size of the hotel. A lot of options for breakfast. All staff was very friendly, we checked out at 14:00 so we could still shower after hiking the cliff.
The apartment was nice and big enough for a family (2 adults+2 kids).
The location is perfect in front of the Ifach mountain and the salt lake. All the beaches of Calpe can be reached in a few minutes walking.
Good location, perfectly comfortable, clean and convenient hotel for the price. I am not surprised that it is popular. The staff were very helpful indeed. In its price category, I was pleasantly surprised.
The view of the harbor.
The breakfast was nice. The staff were friendly and could speak multiple languages.
The parking close to the hotel was very easy and free.
Overall we would recommend the hotel.
