This hotel was totally beautiful. Everything was super clean and well designed. The room was bright and airy, with a huge bathroom full of all the amenities you could need and more! Ive never stayed in a place that came with a hair straightener! There was the nicest little bar and courtyard where they serve a fantastic breakfast. The location was also perfect, super close to the Aqua Duct and Cathedral, as well as many great bars and restaurants.

The room was very large with a hard floor, which I prefer to wall to wall carpeting, and there was a wonderful shower and a comfortable bed. It was really a lovely, contemporary style room in a perfect location for wandering about Segovia and it's very peaceful. Also, the cathedral is just a short walk from the hotel for anyone wishing to attend Mass.

This was a great location and a beautiful place to stay. We were just passing through on our way from northern spain back to madrid with our rental car. We wanted to be close enough to madrid to driving in the morning. But this location was very beautiful with a nice walking path and a good breakfast.

Segovia is one of my favorite cities in Spain, ancient and beautiful, and of course has its unsurpassed Roman aquaduct, worth a visit for this alone. But beyond that, each time we have been the streets have been full of fun loving locals, out enjoying life, and both young and old promenade until late, which to me is quintessential Spanish. It has an unsurpassed local party scene, and many young folks are literally up till dawn. Be sure and try the local favorite, suckling pig, widely available. We had a good experience at José Maria, a famous joint, which caters to tourists and locals alike, and has a really good bar. The meal there was professional, if brisk, the atmosphere boisterous, and the pig delightful. Don't miss the deserts.

    Very nice city to visit.

Very nice city to visit. Unfortuntaly, we stay only 1 evening but it worth to see the main square and Aguaducto. I think it is better to stay 2 full days to enjoy it. Restaurants in Main square are quite expensive for what it is. Most of them were not full...the pizzeria nearby were crowded.

This is the second time we visited Segovia, it is one of my favorite towns. Spend one or two nights here and you would be able to explore the most of it. It can also be a day trip, but nights are full of life there that we love to have dinner and walk around.

    Segovia is a hidden gem.

Segovia is a hidden gem. A mere 1/2 hr rapid train ride from Madrid, it’s a mostly intact living Medieval city. The ancient Roman aqueduct is striking in its height, length, and preservation. The Alcazar is also spectacular. All within walking distance of the main square which itself boasts a majestic Cathedral and several cafes, restaurants, and unique shops. Venturing a short distance out of the Segovia is La Granja de Idafonso (sic). Less than 2 euros by bus, you’ll discover one of the best kept secrets of the area - an incredible Palace filled with spectacular art treasures in gorgeous rooms with ceilings that boast great art. Right next to the Palace is a small chapel which is equally impressive, housing the tomb of the Infanta Isabel and the bones of other Infantas. All of this comes with large, well tended gardens, filled with flowers, majestic trees and shrubs, beautifully manicured and worth walking in to see the great sculpture in a fountain. The garden was vast, so I didn’t cover all of it. BottomLine: Segovia is a little haven away from hectic big cities and chock full of things to see/explore.

Nice town as expected but its surrounded by lovely countryside, If you like a bit of a hike stay a little longer. We run out of time and missed the monastery and the royal mint. Two nights wasnt enough for us even arriving early on the 1st day and staying until mid afternoon after the second day. Its an easy transfer by train from Madrid, but you need to get a taxi from the station to town.

All the main tourist sites are worth visiting.

All the main tourist sites are worth visiting. The aqueduct, cathedral and alcazar are all must sees. The general tour provided through the tourist office was great, but you do need to understand Spanish well. The tour of the Jewish Quarter also offered by the tourist office was not good. It is in the middle of the afternoon, which can be very hot and sunny and the guide does not use the microphone packs, so you can't hear what she's saying. Plus you are mostly just looking at the outside of buildings. The Moneda museum is very well done and interesting. It is worth walking on the trail that runs around the edge of town along the river.

The hotel was peaceful, quiet and clean. Our room was lovely and of a good size with a lovely little terrace and wonderful views of the Alcazar. The tranquility was what we liked best as even with a central location we felt as though we were in the countryside. The location was excellent and close to everything. If we return to Segovia (which I hope we will) we will certainly return to this hotel.
