The location is very close to the airport-about five minutes yet still a €16 uber ride at night, and €21 in the morning. The included breakfast in the morning is excellent for what the expectation was. The coffee is not good, but the food was absolutely more than adequate and the variety was excellent. Each staff member we spoke with was incredibly friendly and very helpful.

FAQs about hotels in Málaga

he Colorful Soul of the Costa del Sol

The birthplace of Picasso is as colorful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place among the youthful square of the old center, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.

There’'s also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.

A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga 's most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 6 miles from the center of town.

From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you're sure to find the perfect place to stay for your sunny vacation.

Have visited Malaga many times and quite often go for the Xmas lights which are amazing. We’ve travelled a lot and this is one of our favourite cities. Great shopping, restaurants and cultural areas. Beaches good too. Easily accessible from the airport by train at 2.80 euros. Good connection to other major cities by Renfe train network accessible at Mario Zambrano station.

Malaga is a really nice city with beaches close by. We visited in July and though we had a really nice time there it might have been more enjoyable in September or October when the weather cools a bit.

We drove along the coast to Nerja for 4 nights, then 1 night in Granada to visit the Alhambra then back to Malaga for 2 nights. The train from the airport is fantastic 10mins and only 2.60 euros. Malaga old town is lovely to explore as well as the Alcazabra. Everything is really good value for money. The walkway we have cycled before right to then end El Palo which is lovely stopping for a swim at the beaches along the way. The mariner is also great for an evening drink and to watch the super yatchs!

A wonderful city. Lots to see. Plenty of variety. Walked around the shops, went to the Marina, visited a roof top bar. Excellent food & drink. Sampled sherry in a very old bodega. Ate brilliant tapas. VERY easy to get from the airport to the city centre on the train. Fabulous atmosphere after dark, very lively on the traffic-free streets. It felt safe.

We loved it here. The accommodation was perfectly located. Ten mins (8 if fast) from the port. Easily accessible from the airport. Right in the heart of the historic old town with no problem choosing a gorgeous bar. But equally off a hidden quiet street you wouldn’t go down unless you stayed there - so so quiet. It was a lovely surprise that one of the roof top bars I had saved was part of the hotel and we got a freee drink. We loved that we could store our luggage safely too. When we return to Malaga we will stay here again for sure!

The hotel located in a good central position for getting around the old town of Malaga with bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The bed was large and fabulously comfy and breakfast was continental style with a good choice of food. The free mini bar in the room was a nice touch! Bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel.
