Helpful and welcoming front desk and assistance staff! Answered all our questions from tip info (that I requested) to parking directions, to gas station location. Staff helped with luggage upon arrival - a real plus! We were always greeted coming and going. Great breakfast.

    I recommend other places, like Cannes or Menton, even Monaco. Although the streets were cleaned every morning, Nice felt very dirty, and there were also homeless Russians lurking on the beach and asking for money. Also, one particular spot always smelled of urine. The city itself is beautiful, but it feels kinda run down. All one can see nowadays is that it was glorious in the old times, so it feels pretty sad there. On the other hand, there are opportunities to take trains or boats to get away to much nicer places that are 1 or 2 h trips away.

    My first time in this vibrant city!

    My first time in this vibrant city! Loved the energy and the charming narrow streets filled with cafes and restaurants. We made dinner reservations nearly every night as we are vegetarians and wanted to make sure we had solid choices. This apartment was close to the Tram which we used to get to the Nice train station for all of our day trips. Nice is charming, vibrant, and easy for those without cars to use as a base for exploring the Côte d’Azur. We were there for 5 nights but could have stayed a month or a lifetime.

    Excellent choice of restaurants and shops, fairly expensive but affordable. Beach is pebble/shingle and sunbeds very expensive. Recommend trip to next resort Villefranche Sur Mer, which has a lovely sandy/shingle beach and harbour with good restaurants and bars. Take a walk up Castle hill for a great view of the area. Hire a car to visit Grasse and other medieval mountain villages.

    Nice is the perfect south of France home base! I loved its mix of city, old town and beach. There’s lots to see, do and eat, and the water is just stunning. The city is also so easy to navigate, making it feel safe for female and solo travelers! I loved exploring Nice and taking trips to surrounding areas such as Menton and Grasse.

    Old town has nice buildings but below average compared to...

    Old town has nice buildings but below average compared to many other beautiful cities in France. Small. Beach has nice water and restaurants but pebbles. I wouldn't go there for the beach. We stayed one night because we were dropping someone off at the airport. Otherwise, knowing France very well, I wouldn't have bothered. As just a stop-over it was fun.

    Lots of restaurants to choose from, I would recommend you head to the Oldtown as the service and choice is better than the main street. Trams and transport network are fantastic. Took a tram from the airport only a few euro and clean. Be wary of pick pockets lots of them around.

    We came to the Radisson after a flight cancellation. To say this hotel beat the 5 star hotel we stayed in previous is an understatement. The staff were so kind and friendly. The beach was gorgeous and bests most of the well known places in Nice, the roof top pool is fabulous with amazing views qnd good atmosphere at night. The room was comfortable with a great ocean view and balcony. Room service was good and breakfast was great!

    The room was big with enough room for suitcases. There was a nice balcony. Location perfect: walkable distance to the beach, train station, tram and old town, yet no heavy traffic. Nice personnel and good service. A beautiful hotel. We will probably come back.
