The overall feel is that the city is in decline with a lot of vacant buildings. That said it felt safe with lots of great places to visit. It's a city with great architecture and I am rooting for it to do well. Clearly a lot of money has been spent here and has wealth, but currently feels like the economy is in a downturn (Brexit maybe?).

Getting through airport once off plane was quick and easy ..buses to left and taxis just upfront..
Not many places to sit outside and dine ..
But the Victoria square mall is a must see ..go to the top beautiful views from rooftop...
Restaurants to recommend would be pizza punks in town centre in lanes by mall..great food great drinks..
Overall belfast is a 3-4 day stay ..not much to see and do although cinema in Victoria mall is cheap if book online just £5 each per adult and we had cinema to ourselves to see a new release 'IF'..
BELFAST ..IS full of unemployed, alot of drinks and drugs...it could be a beautiful place if the people where given jobs and the run down places where opened up and money put in to the town but alot I got from the ppl and area is everyone is just getting by not living just surviving..I come from a city call Brighton in uk and it's nothing like Brighton..Belfast is dead ..empty..everyday is like a Sunday no hussle and bussle..
A must see for all shoppers is the primark..it's big..has a Disney cafe where you can take lots of pics and grab a waffle and coffee for £5;95 !
Weather . Cold wet & windy..barely anydays of sunshine out of 7 we got one sunny day and this was in may!

What a friendly place, I would definitely recommend it.
What a friendly place, I would definitely recommend it. It doesn't feel like a capital city at all, the pace is much more relaxed.
Whatever you do, go to The Duke of York's pub, it is beautiful.
Beware of leaving it late to eat though - we got caught out twice by leaving it til 8 or so.

Great city.
Great city. I went there for a Bruce Springsteen concert, and I chose Belfast because although I had already been to England, Scotland and Wales, Northern Ireland was the only part of the UK I had not visited yet. You should definitely visit one of the pubs and I especially recommend the Ulster Museum.
It's a very serene place. On the first night I had the place to myself( atleast was made to know there were no other guests on that day).
It's clean and neat but best of all it's very quiet. Its right next to a bus stop and you can find your way to the city centre. Its also about 15 minutes away when one is walking which is great.
Walking distance to Tesco, KFC etc.
The bed is comfortable too, which it was alittle thicker mattress but slept very well all the same.
Was great overall.
This was the BEST place…loved it and would DEFINITELY come back to stay again. The coach house renovations were just splendid and the owners thought of everything! Loved the big folding doors that opened onto the patio. The gas fire pit was wonderful. Loved the kitchen layout. Our stay was only one night but all of us said we would definitely come again. This would make a great “home base” to use to travel to see sights around Northern Ireland!
It is always a pleasure to stay in this beautiful hotel, pure luxury. The checkin staff always very helpful. The views from the bar area are stunning overlooking the lough. Good choice of wines and a lovely menu in the bar. The beds are so comfortable, best night's sleep i have had for a long time. Very accessible to Belfast city centre with the train station at the bottom of the gardens. I always enjoy my time at the Culloden Hotel,
Near to the city centre, and a fabulous hotel. The staff were more than accommodating. Has to be said, if your a Guinness drinkerit's a fabulous pint in here. Close to the City sights and to the main bus and railway stations, so you can easily travel all over Northern Ireland both trains and buses for a mere 17.50 a day. That's exceptional value. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Had a great stay.
The hotel was located in the city centre and was ideal for a night out with friends. When we checked in, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was perfect. I may have to return just for the breakfast buffet which was amazing. Very good value for money, I've stayed at other hotels from this chain and this one has to be the best so far. Recommended.
Checked in online early, got our room key and to the room very quickly, room was spacious, very tidy. Perfect location to the city centre for everything we needed! Gonna be our hotel of choice next time we travel.
Check out was fast and we were allowed to store our suitcases after checking out while we waited for our coach which was a huge plus.
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was nice. Had a nice eggs Benedict. Good variety to choose from. The location was very good. Nice quiet area bit just off the Lisburn road with lots of bars and shops and food spots. An easy spin or lovely walk into City centre. Nice cozy bar in site too.
House Belfast was very close to the city centre. It had a small supermarket just across the road and restaurants all around as you walked outside the hotel. The decoration and furniture were sooo cool! We felt like we were in the US in the 60s/70s. The lady at the reception was cool and very friendly. It was clean.
We booked last min for a Saturday night in belfast, and this was such an economical choice, compared to the city centre hotels. Location was great, a cheap taxi in to the centre and we walked back in 25 mins. Free parking in the street. Friendly host
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. Location made for easy access into the city centre and wasn't far from the train station either. Hotel was very quiet and clean. Would recommend for a short stay.
The location of the hotel was great , a few minutes walk from the train station and less than ten minutes to the city centre. Lovely powerful shower and cosy under floor heating. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful .
Central location, good amenities, and everything you need for self-catering break. No noise outside throughout the night. Close to bus stop for city centre. Near Benedicts Hotel which does amazing food and drinks.
I loved that it was close to everything from train or bus station and restaurants, city centre.
The staff was really friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
I liked everything about this hotel and it is very near and walkable to distance to the city centre and to other places like the Queens University and Museums.
