Our room was very comfortable and the furnishings were without blemish. The hotel itself is very welcoming and much more homely than a certain more famous one a few miles closer to Belfast. The staff were both friendly and efficient at all times.
Located in the heart of Bangor, overlooking the picturesque Blue Flag marina, this guest house offers free WiFi. Belfast city center can be reached in 15 minutes’ drive.

Wonderful location--such an easy walk down to the town and pier where everything happens, then back up to the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Breakfast was good--made on the premises as you order. Very helpful owner, Sue.
Cairn Bay Lodge is in extensive gardens overlooking Ballyholme Beach. The villa is ideal for visits to Belfast and Ards Peninsula.

The hotel is charming, the location is beautiful and the food is outstanding. My only complaint would be the mattress, but that’s because nothing can compare to ours at home! Lovely stay.
Sea La Vie is located in Bangor, just 13 miles from Titanic Belfast and 13 miles from The Waterfront Hall.

Gorgeous house, more spacious than expected and just so comfortable and homely.
All the little extra touches were just lovely too. Comfy beds, great pillows and squishy duvets. Spotlessly clean too.

The house is beautiful, very comfortable, spacious, with fabulous views of the Lough. The owners, Steve and Orla, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They directed us to a nearby pub, the Jamaica Inn, where we had a fabulous dinner. They were very welcoming and offered us a delightful stay in Bangor. We would gladly stay at Loughview if we were to visit Bangor again. Highly recommended
Located in an elevated position overlooking the marina, this well reputed and respected guest house occupies a superb setting in the seaside resort of Bangor, County Down.

The location was ideal - easy access to the harbor, near the wedding venue, yet not in a congested area. Ann and Barney could not have been nicer or more accommodating.
The town is very cosy, compact and full of sights.
The town is very cosy, compact and full of sights. You feel absolutely home, greeted by every passer by (and a doggy). Very clean, sea and rich greenery everywhere, perfect transport around, even a marvelous English (ESOL) school "Moving on center"! We enjoyed every minute there, though initially didn't plan staying there at all.

Beautiful little town right on the water.
Beautiful little town right on the water. Very walkable with great restaurants and coffee shops. Not much in the way of shops but we were ok with that. People were very friendly and looked like they love their town. Very close to Belfast so if you’re there for the city it was a great place to stay and rela without being in the hustle of the city. I would definitely go back and next time stay longer!

We have alot of kids mainly older teens and young adults who looked after our 2 very young children at home so me and my husband could have a night away to ourselves I would have loved to have stayed another few nights but we all have work and so do the older children ..... The reason we would have loved another few nights was so we could go exploring there are so many places to go walking around the edge of the water also the trains are very regular so you could have went into Belfast or somewhere half hour away then came back to Bangor to escape the noise of the city there are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from to eat at also ..... We went to a mexican place around the corner from where we stayed for lunch portion sizes were huge and it tasted amazing for dinner we went to a place called Oregano I think .... It's up near the train station and it has thee best spaghetti carbonara I've ever had in my life

Bangor is a traditional seaside town with all the amenities you would expect. The people were all very welcoming to us (English visitors). We hope to visit again in better weather. We had a bit of sunshine during our (March) trip but also rain and cold wind. There are also some other pretty little villages not far away down the coast and along nearby Strangford Lough. Travel to and from Belfast is easy by car or train.

Pleasant seaside town with attractive marina and a good range of shops. Parking seems to be easy (albeit I was there off season) and free. Some bits of town very run down, like many resorts, but mostly quite nice and has been improved. Very handy for city airport and transport links to Belfast are good.

I was only there for one night so it would be unfair to comment too much but it was friendly as I went for an evening walk. Like many seaside towns, its tired in places but there looks as if there is plenty of good about Bangor.
Everything was great big beautiful house. Hosts are absolutely brilliant. Two bedrooms to choose from, two spacious livingrooms both extremely comfortable. Fantastic kitchen, location is to die for with great shops, marina bay and bars near by all within walking distance. Went to Donegans bar for food and drinks was so nice we went back the next day staff was awesome food was unreal cannot wait for our next trip back. But the star of the stay for me was the big gorgeous bath tub I most definitely will be back just for that tub. xX
We had a fantastic stay at Loughview as part of our honeymoon trip. Orla was a lovely host and welcomed us to the B&B. We loved the use of the private living room space and were grateful that Steve had popped us some fizz in the fridge to celebrate. The self serve breakfast was a nice touch which we really enjoyed. The best part of the trip was the comfort of the bed/room, after a busy few days travelling we were appreciative of a great nights sleep in the super comfy bed. A very nice stay, would definitely recommend.
Cool and interesting property full of eclectic charm. Each room is individually furnished and has a different style.
Super friendly host and great staff.
Food was fantastic, great breakfast which is different to your usual fare. This place is a Bangor institution and is very popular with the locals for food, coffee and cakes.
Great value for money.
Lovely view of Ballyholme Bay.
If you are looking for something more interesting and personal than your typical hotel then this is worth considering.
A lovely and large place to stay, a flat over several floors, with everything you could need. It made it clear why staying in a self-catering property can be so much better value and more convenient than a hotel. It was beautifully decorated and full of interesting "objects", art and books. The main bedroom was light and airy. Only a very short walk into the station, so a good base for visiting Belfast.
Lovely house, loads of space. Such a pleasure to stay in a real family home full of art and books and cosy corners to relax in. Right on the front so lovely views and had the weather been better we would have enjoyed sitting out in the garden. Great to have two living rooms so little ones can play and watch cartoons in one and the 'grown ups' can enjoy peace and quiet in the other!
Just amazing experience staying in Princetown Guesthouse from the very welcoming greeting by the host and explaining the area, the spacious super comfortable room with sea view and very soft and comfortable beds, tea, water, coffee and cookies, tasty breakfast :) the location is superb with a short walk to the beach and train station. One of the best places I have stayed ❤
Exceptionally clean. Very good value for money. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of cooked options available.
The staff are helpful, polite and friendly; they give the personal touch of a B&B whilst you still enjoy the privacy a Hotel stay offers. I would definitely stay again.
Beautiful and spacious apartment with everything you would ever need for a break away or an extended stay
The views are stunning from each window and is a short walk to town with the various bars and restaurants
I would stay there again in a heartbeat
Well done sue

Apartment was very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated, it was a cheerful, unique space to spend a week in. And all the free coffee we could drink was such a lovely bonus! Philip was a great host.
Gorgeous house, more spacious than expected and just so comfortable and homely.
All the little extra touches were just lovely too. Comfy beds, great pillows and squishy duvets. Spotlessly clean too.

An absolute treasure of a hotel, superbly presented by the lovely Gillian who has to be one of Northern Irelands most welcoming and accommodating hosts. Keep being brilliant Gillian
Lots of space for a family of 6, the views were amazing. The balcony and seating area in the garden were lovely places to sit and take in the views of the sea and watch the boats!
