Flambards Hotel, hotel in Cardigan

Located in Cardigan, 25 miles from Oakwood Theme Park, Flambards Hotel provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

Fabulous stay, the proprietors were warm and welcoming. Gave great tips of things to see in the area and a little further out. The pub was a haven after a busy day touring about. The restaurant was excellent and interesting to cook your own protein. There was a gas bar a block away and a fish & chip shop that was doing a very brisk business.

Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages, hotel in Cardigan

Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages offers accommodations in Cardigan, 27 miles from Oakwood Theme Park and 27 miles from Folly Farm.

My family and I spent a few days here recently and we loved it. The whole place was lovely. The owners were so helpful and really nice. There was a gorgeous outdoor heated swimming pool and a hot tub outside our accommodation. My family spent a great afternoon playing the huge outdoor chess game and the kids loved the play area. The beds were really comfortable and the place was so clean. It felt so luxurious and we were sorry to have had only booked a short stay here. We will be back and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Stayed 15.01.22-16.01.22. The accommodation had everything needed and was of good quality at a reasonable price. The room was just the right size, clean and quiet. It's just a short walk to the town so it doesn't matter that no food is served there at the moment, as there are some cracking cafes and restaurants in Cardigan, even on a Sunday, just up the road. Its a great hotel if you just want a lovely quiet sleep, shower in the morning, cuppa and out. There is also a quality television in the room to boot!!

Booking process was very straightforward, there's parking out front & check in was very easy. Nicola & Anthony that run it are lovely, so friendly, very welcoming & go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Our room (3) was very nice & had everything we needed & the double bed was very comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee + bottled water which is always on offer if you're running low. The hotel is a 5min walk from Cardigan Castle & so in a great spot for exploring the town.

Everything was great, nice hotel and pleasant staff. Our room was nice and cozy, clean and enough space for the two of us. We had view of the car park, but we didn't upgrade to a sea view so we got what we paid for. Breakfast was included which was very tasty and many options to chose from. Location of the property was lovely, with a beautiful seaside walk just across the road.

This is an individual style of property, literally a stone's throw away from the town centre and with easy access to public parking nearby (also limited property owned parking). It has a great historical feel whilst being equipped to a very high standard. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the garden area and our own boutique style private seating area.

The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.

The site was secure, safe and central to the town and West Wales with lovely views of the river. The room was beautifully furnished and finished. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was fascinating to stay somewhere with such a depth of history. Although the castle is in the centre of the town it is peaceful and private. It was a privilege to stay there.

Good location central to the Town and a good base to visit the area. Car park accessed via gated entrance was narrow so care needed. Accommodation was within Castle grounds in annexe to main building. Room was large with en-suite just as large, overlooking Castle garden. Breakfast in Castle cafe, friendly staff with views to river or castle grounds.
