Room and Hotel fine. One draught Lager on offer no beer only bottles. The menu offerings was not as on the Webb. No Steak no cheese and biscuits had to ask. Choice of three sweets only no fish veggie limited My wife had to have Goat cheese and salad as a main no salad dressing. One starter was off comment was it’s a new menu. But breakfast was good.

Warm, clean and comfortable but breakfast was very very basic and diy. I felt that value for money was not good. We had a change of circumstances which ment we could not travel on the Friday(booked Friday and Saturday night) but had contacted them and asked if we could change the dates to the Saturday and Sunday night instead. They said no that they were not going to do that that booking would not allow it so we had to just turn up on the Saturday having paid for the Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile we made another booking for the Sunday night and guess what happened… they gave us the same room we had been in!

Interesting place with range of ages of buildings.
Interesting place with range of ages of buildings. Lots of food outlets, looked good. Manor Hotel very faded glory: avoid.
Bus to Nottingham or Derby runs all night because of the airport. We went bus pass to Nottingham, very well worth a visit. An attractive town that could do with a good clean.
Best fabric shop my wife has seen in this country. Rolls of high quality end of line from local mills for sod-all! We brought back 2, but will be going again no doubt.
Very close to M1 and A50 so very easy to get to.

Time has caught up with the hotel since the advert was written. Sadly, my room was no longer 'bright and modern' and the shower definitely wan't a 'power shower'.
The thermostat wasn't there. The room was cold.
The TV remote had two parts mission.
The carpet was 'suspect'.
No hand soap. When asked, the hotel had "run out".
Tea and coffee was provided, but no milk. I had to go back to ask for some.
IKEA coffee mug still had a dirty sticker on the bottom.
Bathroom was.... not perfect.

The hotel is only a short walk to the airport which makes it ideal.
We have stayed a number of times, normally we book in for a night before we travel and the car is parked for the duration of our trip, this is normally booked through Holiday Extras but I omitted to to book for our return night therefore did this through Booking.com. Only disappointment with this was I had to pay an extra £5 for parking that night of our stay.

Suite was lovely, however bed small and creaky and cheap mattress, rest was lovely so that did let it down a bit. TVs were very small and one day didn’t work. There was no tidy up whilst we were out and one of the towels had an awful brown stain on it, we didn’t get toiletries or tea etc refilled and had to ask for more toilet roll.
On big positive the staff were lovely and friendly and I’d still recommend to others and would return. With a little investment it would be a fantastic hotel!
Easy booking & check-in. Fairly quiet room on ground floor although only a view of the car park. Comfortable and clean bedroom. Had lovely meal from the Sunday lunch menu in the informal dining room on the Sunday evening. Good breakfast in the formal restaurant, food brought to us rather than buffet which suited us perfectly. Food could have been hotter but otherwise fine.
Beautiful property in a fantastic location, Sally is lovely, very welcoming, helpful and communication was spot on. We stayed in the Kings Quarter room which is lovely and spacious with the most comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean, nothing at all not to like about The Keep and we will always stay there for future visits to Castle Donington, highly recommend.
Great location for Donington Race Track. Good communication when an issue arose with our room. The team couldn't do enough to help resolve it for us. For our 3 night stay having the kitchen facilities was really useful and for a compact space it still contained everything we needed. Great water pressure in the shower.
Our twin room was adequate and comfortable. Excellent shower. Great location for East Midlands Airport. Short walk to check our luggage in the twilight check-in service the evening before our early morning flight. The bus stop is immediately outside the hotel carpark.
There was easy free parking, there were available rooms when everywhere else was full, the hotel was clean and welcoming, the location is pleasant, the staff are friendly and efficient, the hotel was reasonably priced, the room was spacious and modern and convenient.
The location of the hotel is brilliant. Lots of pubs and restaurants. Only 5 minutes from the race track. The room was really clean. Spacious. Quiet. Lovely shower and bed. I am definitely booking to stay again. Also, communal kitchen was handy. Can't wait to go back
Easy check in after a 1am flight arrival. I'd already contacted the hotel to ask if the sofa bed could be made up ready for our arrival and it was. Breakfast was brilliant - buffet of hot food, pastries, cereal and plenty of choice of hot and cold drinks.
Lovely hotel, exceptional staff. A swim in the pool was luxury along with the spa. Rooms were good, bit dated but definitely acceptable. We will go again but I highly recommend you book direct with the hotel. Great breakfast too
The staff were pleasant and as helpful as they could be. They attempted to assist me whenever I went to the reception desk with an issue, and the hotel was nice and quiet. Generally a lovely location for a short stay.
The hotelier was very accommodating. We were only there for one night, and only for a short time due to bring at a wedding all day and evening. However there was no mad rush for us to leave early the next morning.
Hotel room clean and spacious. 5 minutes walk from airport, very convenient .
B'fast is very good, buffet style and starts at 6am (English breakfast ). I think the continental breakfast starts at 3am.
good parking facilities. shame no other eating areas but not their fault. made most of their location . was clean room. shame don’t change sheets or replenish tea coffee unless asked. so disappointed
Great location for where I was going to the following day - ideal hotel for a stop over before flying via East Midlands Airport and also ideal if you love Download but hate camping.
