Laundry with a dryer - the whole of the UK seems to only have washers with no dryer, so it's good to not worry about packing soggy clothes if the night is humid and your departure is early. Clear instructions, clean rooms, parking, etc.

Great location, lovely hosts, everything you need in the room and the bonus of a garden to sit in, pet friendly too, we had a chilled couple of days and really enjoyed our time there, only five minutes walk to the center of the village.

While the village is small, there are still plenty of things to do. A lovely community shop and cafe, nearby fishery and cafe, forest where you can go walking and mountain biking. We had a fantastic dinner at the Crown Inn (based on other people's rave reviews). Great food, value for money, happy, friendly staff and customers and dog-friendly.
Armed with satnav and a bit of googling it's easy to find plenty of things to do nearby and a bit further afield, whether the weather is great or something to be avoided!
