What a wonderfully secluded retreat. Coming down from the road, we were in awe of the beautiful surrounding landscape. We had a very friendly welcome and throughout our visit, staff could not have been more helpful.
The location of the hotel is in fantastic countryside next to a small stream. All you hear on the grounds is the stream and the little lambs and sheep in the fields. A true country house.

Very kind and thoughtful in every way. And the house is a charming former miner’s cottage in a charming village.
