When we arrived the very happy friendly owner gave us an upgrade to a bigger room as he had a cancellation. So we had the garden room. It was really nice and modern and had illy coffee for the machine! The bed was mega comfortable and there was a sofa and TV for chilling. It was only 200m from the centre of town so we could wander down and stumble back later on. You can also pop out to Dartmoor in 10mins drive. Overall felt very happy and relaxed when we left.

Pretty riverside village with country views. Tamar Inn had a band on Saturday night and provides pub food. There is a little café for breakfasts and lunch. Bus service. Riverside walks. Canoe hire subject to the tide times. Nearby, there are the NT sites of Cotehele House and Morwellham Quay - both worth a visit.

Close to everything but still snug and quiet. The cottage is beautifully done up and so cosy. Very comfy bed and easy relaxed feeling throughout. The views of the viaduct over the river are great from upstairs and in the garden. We hope to stay longer next time - now we know how comfy the cottage is.TinaUnited Kingdom

It was essentially an annex to the owner's house and as such they were very welcoming and helpful, but it never compromised our privacy. The room was a good size and there was a nice en suite bathroom and a whole kitchen which definitely came in handy. The fresh bread on arrival was a nice touch.JamesUnited Kingdom

Mark was extremely helpful and we loved being here. Having a welcome package of local bread, butter and milk with a selection of teas and coffee and some fruit was very thoughtful.
