A particular thankyou to Santana who made us extremely welcome for the two days we hung out in the lounge bar area, made us Irish coffees, collected our bags and could t have been more helpful. The sweets and card in our rooms was also a nice touch. Lovely rooms and place to relax after a long day !

Everything, especially receptionist Louisiana was very helpful and professional.
Located 15 minutes' away by train from Gatwick Airport and central London, EasyHotel Croydon offers accommodations with air conditioning and private bathrooms.
Midway between central London and Gatwick Airport, Croydon is a shopping haven. Hundreds of stores are found under the glass-roofed Whitgift Centre and the even more modern Centrale complex.
This thriving retail industry is one factor contributing to the town being London’s 3rd most important business area, so naturally it has its fair share of skyscrapers. Also tall is the red-brick Croydon Clocktower, housing the town museum, and attached to the town hall overlooking Queen’s Gardens.
Opposite is Fairfield Halls, a large arts venue behind which run train lines connecting East Croydon Station to London Victoria in one direction, and Gatwick and Brighton in the other. Modern trams also link the town to other suburbs. Croydon used to have its own airport (once more important than Heathrow) and its former terminal is a museum open one Sunday a month.
The town minster houses tombs of some archbishops of Canterbury and their summer residence was Croydon Palace, now a school. Much more famous is the BRIT School which has nurtured musical artists including Adele, Jessie J and Katie Melua.
The Croydon accommodation on Booking.com includes 4-star hotels with pools, guest houses with parking and cheap apartments. In the Borough of Croydon are Addington, home of an opulent palace, and neighbouring Shirley with its Grade II-listed windmill.

I grew up near Croydon and it has changed a great deal, It has good transport and access to shops. It is fairly built up in some areas but has a good community spirit and some older buildings do remain.
Coulsdon is in a more leafy part of the borough and I enjoyed staying in the Coulsdon Manor Hotel.

Everything was amazing but only reason I would not give a 5 star is because the curtains were not black out as advised and their were street lights right opposite window which was super annoying inside door did not lock either so put a chair infront for peace of mind. Staff were attentive, happy, and smiling.

The only small problem I noticed was the taps on the sink.
The only small problem I noticed was the taps on the sink. They were not far enough forward in the bowl, so difficult to get your hands, toothbrush etc under. Also the water therefore run onto the surface instead into the bowl.

I only come here because I have relatives in the city otherwise I would not be seen dead here - mind you, with all the knife stabbings that go on in Croydon, that´s always a possibility. A two word description of Croydon would end in hole!
The location is one of the most attractive features of these apartments, right opposite East Croydon Station (one stop from Gatwick) with regular services into London Bridge and Victoria. Enjoyed living in a block where other residents were permanent residents, not holiday makers. Appreciated the dishwasher, washing/dryer machine within the apartment. Reception staff (who don't work for Charles Hope) are very friendly and courteous as are the Charles Hope Guest Services staff whom we contacted by phone and email when issues arose.
The flat is very close to the tram stop and a supermarket. The place is very secure with a 24/7 camera, an intercom with a camera at the entrance, and is clean to the highest standard. You have all the amenities, including crockery to cook your meal. A perfect place to stay with your family to relax and enjoy the quietness of your busy life. I would highly recommend this flat to anyone interested in staying in Croydon. Also, it takes only 20-25 minutes from the flat to central London via East Croydon or West Croydon station.
Hotel very close to East Croydon train station is the first positive. Hotel is in walking distance to the City Centre. Room size, Staff and breakfast are all good. This is the second time I have stayed here. Ms.Mariyana from the breakfast area has to be mentioned here for the way she welcomes guests for breakfast with a gentle smile. Also, she makes sure that we are not left wanting for something. Always happy to help.
The breakfast was exceptionally good and far surpassed our expectations. All the hot buffet items were fresh and good quality - also piping hot. We ate a simple supper in the hotel and there was plenty to choose from on the menu for the traveller in need of sustenance - it wasn't AA star but was well thought out and delicious. We certainly didn't expect that of a standard business class hotel.
The receptionist was very welcoming. I arrived late at night. 10 50pm.
Nice clean bathrooms and rooms. The shower was really clean with good hot water and towels where provided
The bed and pillow was very comfortable.
For the price you cant beat this hotel! The high street is close enough where you can find everything you need.
Will definitely return next time I'm in south London.
The location was a bit far from the Center of London, but there are fast trains and Thames-link trams. I took the buses to see the land around outer London, so it took much longer--about an hour and a half to Central London. It was nice to be able to wash a load of laundry while there and the fridge in the room was nice for water and fruit.
The bed was comfortable and the linen was freshly washed. It was conveniently close to East Croydon station. I also appreciated that the staff were available at reception and when the cleaning staff saw me about to unlock the door suggested I changed from an original room allocation due to a broken loo flush.
Modern and renovated hotel, walking distance from the train station of East Croydon (with connections to Gatwick Airport in 15-20 mins and to London Victoria/ London Bridge in about 20 mins). The hotel has a nice restaurant-cafè at the ground floor and it was overall a pleasant stay.
The receptionist Rose was outstanding in sorting out queries promptly and efficiently. Welcoming and professional.
Great breakfast with a nice variety of options.(if booking online, cheaper to book room only and add breakfast as an upgrade to pay at hotel once booking confirmed)
Great host, clean and quiet apartment. Amazing location with easy access to transportation both by trains and buses to central London. Just 16 mins to Central London on overground trains (same as underground/tube). Real value for money. Highly recommended
The location was good with plenty of food options around the area
The person at reception was friendly and helpful while a little overworked it seemed?
Price wise the place was cheaper than most because obviously the hotel needed updating!
Love the property. Hotel needs to be finished before it opens. Looks like it’s crumbling. Has lots it’s crispness. I can appreciate what the vision is but there’s a way to go. Liked the bunkbeds and art work happening.
I picked it because it was cheap, in Croydon. It is about 1 hour with public transport from big ben. Room nr 1 was comfortable and large. Breakfast: jam, bread, milk, orange juice, instant coffee, tea, cereals, fruits.
Great stay near East Croydon station! The apartment was clean, cozy, and conveniently located. Perfect for exploring London with easy access to transportation. The host was helpful and responsive. Highly recommended
Excellent customer service and an amazing place to stay. Everything was immaculately clean which is very important during the pandemic. We will recommend this place to anyone visiting London.
