We liked that the property was close to town but felt like we were in the country. It is a farm. The farmhouse interior has been improved by the owners. We enjoyed being in the Heather room which had a wonderful view of the garden and the fields....

It's in a rural setting. Views from our room were fantastic. There was even a common room for guests to relax in. Breakfast cooked to order with usual choices. Perfect if you have a car.

Fantastic room - sooo big, well equipped, with stauning view, and the most comfy bed I ever slept in. Delicious breakfast. Close to the nature - there was a hare in the garden in the morning.

Fabulous location for walking the WHW. Just a short walk outside Drymen. The room was a little dated (and dusty) but very comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep in a very comfy bed and the shower was really good after a days walking. Great...

The farm and its fields are on the edge of Drymen village. A short walk of 15mins north out of the village. Some of the fields run alongside the West Highland Way but we do not have direct access. It is a working beef farm, we have British Shorthorn beef cattle. Shandon is our home as well as a B and B. Thank you.
Hi im Jane, my husband is Stephen and we're originally from Derbyshire, England. we have lived in Scotland since 2012. We opened the B and B in May 2015 following a 9 month renovation to a very high standard. The house is set away from the road and has lovely views over towards Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. I run the B and B and my husband manages the farm. Our daughter also lives with us and helps in the bnb. We have 3 small terriers who live in the house with us.
Drymen is regarded as the first overnight stop-off point for those walking the West Highland Way. It is also the starting point for the Rob Roy Way. It is a small village with a pub, a couple of restaurants and hotels, a library, chemist and a very busy post office. The oldest licensed premises in Scotland is said to be The Clachan Inn by the village green. Shandon Farmhouse is a 15min walk up the road from the Clachan Inn.
