Everything was perfect if I had any complaint it was that I didn't find my bed comfortable, but everyone is different.

This is a great little place, we stayed here the evening before a golf weekend at the Belfry and location wise it couldn't have been better. I was a bit dubious reading some of the reviews but honestly I think the hotel matched the price point and some people expect far too much, I wasn't expecting 5 star as I didn't pay a 5 star price. The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds and the building is lovely, a real period property. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was well priced, fresh cooked and tasty. Breakfast had a great selection for the continental, we were up and out too early for a cooked breakfast so can't comment on that. Room was spacious, nice and clean, and really quiet.
With modern, elegantly furnished rooms, The Townhouse Sutton is centrally located in the heart of Sutton Coldfield. This classic Georgian building still retains some of its original features.

The hotel cancelled my booking 2 hours before check in offering another hotel nearly an hour away. I am a disabled customer and they were totally unsympathetic. Cost me 3 times as much to book another local accessible hotel at such short notice. Had to cut my trip short as couldn't afford to book more than 1 night . No proper explanation of why given and staff couldn't care that they had left a wheelchair user with no where to stay when 4 hours away from home. Will never book here again.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay after an early flight into Birmingham. Host was friendly and helpful. Rooms are extremely clean and beds are so comfy with soft bed linen that smelt beautiful, didn’t want to get out of bed.
We would definitely stay again when visiting Sutton Coldfield

We had travelled from Wales to Sutton - our home town.
We had travelled from Wales to Sutton - our home town.
Sutton town centre itself has gone down the pan so much it was not good to see. If you are looking to go shopping there is not very much shop wise that is worth going to. We won't be back sadly.
If you want a good meal it is worth going to Boldmere just outside Sutton where there are plenty of eateries of all kinds. We would highly recommend the Shaban for absolutely excellent Indian food and service.
Sutton Park was still a lovely place to go for a coffee and long walk at Bracebridge.

Sutton is a lovely town with its beautiful park complete with wild ponies. There are some great restaurants in town and plenty of historically interesting sites, especially for Tudor period history buffs. It’s also close to Birmingham city centre which is easy to get to via the trainline

Our visit was purely to attend a family wedding, the wedding was fantastic and the couple did seem happy with the hotels assistance. The facilities for us as only used briefly were good, all staff interactions were good.

Location is great next to the canal, looks like a nice place when it's sunny with beer garden and walks by the canal. Very friendly young staff who made is very welcome. The accommodation was fairly clean but needs updating though the price reflected this.

Room, location, food service and the spa. It was all fabulous. It was a lovely weekend meeting family and the hotel was a fantastic venue - I am looking for a reason to book again with friends. I had separate bookings for each night as I had added a day. One of the receptionists sorted out so that I could stay in the same room and not move. The hotel was very busy so I was not expecting this. Thank you. Also, even though the hotel was busy it did not effect the service I had. Really enjoyed my stay.
Place was very nice, however given I spent over £500 on the one night stay with meals and extras, other guests there had deals of wowcher which meant they paid a lot less for some of the services
Would have returned if not for this and the response from hotel when asking about this.
I would have thought guests who took advantage of other services and not just the room, would be the ideal guests the hotel would like to return.
The Belfry is a large resort hotel. A real buzz around the golf centre, as you would expect. Our room was very good, spacious, clean, great view over the golf course. The bathroom had a fab shower and was modern and clean. Service in Sam's bar was tremendous. Breakfast was very well organised. And included poached eggs as part of the buffet offering, superb. All in all, a great hotel
Location was great as we were at the NEC Birmingham, for the HOYS exhibition.
Breakfast was fair, as your staying at a farm hotel, you would expect farm quality, but the sausage was budget, bacon quite fatty and undercooked. Egg wasn't quite cooked enough and tomato was a little tough on the inside.
Great location. Easy parking. Nice welcome from the owner was much appreciated. Room was good and bed very comfortable. Oodles of hot water for showers. All in all an excellent place to stay if a full on hotel isn't required. I will use here whenever I have to be in Sutton Coldfield.
Absolutely everything about the place but in particular, the staff who were genuinely delightful, friendly and eager to go the extra mile if needed. Having stayed in many many hotels during my working life, this was by far the best. Great food, lovely spa and pool, beautiful grounds.
We are frequent travelers and we’ve never experienced such exceptional service as in this hotel. The property is stunning and has so much history and the staff is very attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Location was great for a wedding in Sutton Coldfield and handy with a Vintage Inns pub a short walk away . Vicky goes out of her way to be helpful and make the stay as pleasant as possible. A wide range on offer for breakfast .
The location was just off the main street in Sutton Coldfield and so was very convenient to shops. The room was clean as was the bathroom and we found the bed to be comfortable and so got a good nights sleep.
Good location. Wouldn’t choose to stay here but had too for the location.
The lobby and bar area of the hotel is beautiful. However very deceiving, because when you get to the rooms it all goes down hill.
The hotel is small and centrally located. Lovely Bar area and the rooms are spotless. Staff very warm and friendly. Location in Sutton Coldfield was excellent. Easy access to the town centre by foot.
The location was amazing, we were going to the masters the next day at the belfry so this hotels location was perfect. The breakfast was amazing and the staff in the country kitchen were excellent!
I often stay at the Townhouse when travelling. It is centrally located in Sutton Coldfield, has parking and the rooms are always clean with welcoming staff.
We arrived early and was given a warm welcome, checked in easily and we were able to use the hotel facilities all day and also on the day we were leaving
Sutton Park is clean, and it's a nice place to stay for leisure. Anytime I visit Birmingham, I will continue to use the lodge; it looks good and clean.
