Chose Moffat as a mid point stay on our from the East of England to the Isle of Skye and it was a perfect location. Moffat has a good mix of shops and pubs, we ate at the bull which was very nice. Moffat is a lovely town.

Compact but plenty of facilities, pubs, eateries ect in and around the main street . Pretty with a pleasant park and walks. A lovely little town conveniently placed just off the motorway. Great walk alongside the river - particularly if you are travelling with dogs. Well equipped town with good range of shops, cafes, pubs etc. A really friendly place. Free parking in the centre of the town - and lots of it! We ate at the Black Bull pub - very dog friendly - and the meal was excellent. The staff were also super-friendly and helpful.Guest review byheatherUnited Kingdom
