We loved our four nights and five days in Naxos and could easily have stayed longer. The city is perfect blend of culture, shops, restaurants, bar and nature. My teen daughter and I felt safe and loved the hospitality by everyone. So much to do too. Besides stunning beaches, villages, hiking, really amazing seafood restaurants to just walking around late at night. Chora is an exceptional gateway to the island. The meandering pedestrian-only streets, the plaza lined with al fresco dining, and the iconic Portatra, which is even more special when it's illuminated at night. It's a place that is ideal for all types of travellers, the solo adventurer, romantic getaway, and families. It's special and still authentic. Our room was well equipped and spacious. We liked the peace and quiet after a day out and an evening spent in town. Irini was a very attentive host and checked with us at least once a day to ensure everything was all right. We did not take breakfast every day, but the breakfast offer was excellent with a variety of options available.
