The views are amazing. Comfy and away from the busy parts of town. People are helpful and Suri at the front desk speaks great English! Haha. Has a communal kitchen which was nice. You can even walk down to the lake to sit on the rocks and stare at the lake, or play with Kitty cats on property. It was a relaxing stay for me.

Good clean rooms in a pretty new hotel. Not many other guests at the time we were there so it was very quiet. The place is located at the "main" (tourist) street of San Pedro but luckily on the far end so the loud city center does not cause disturbances.
Good hot shower, decent internet at around 9.21MB/s down, 15.81MB/s up, 54ms latency.
Nice outdoor lounging area on the balconies and the rooftop.

We loved staying in this town because of the variety of waterfront restaurants and it felt a little less touristy than the other towns. You can easily walk or tuktuk to San Juan and you can easily access a quick boat ride to San Marcos as well.

This town is really just for young backpackers looking to party. You can pop in for a few hours during the day to check it out, but if you don't fit that demographic stay in a different town on the lake.

This place is a riot of colour and full of authentic Guatemalan life. The women in the town were dressed so beautifully, one could just watch them going about their daily lives. The little town is situated right on the lake and there is more than enough to do to keep one busy for a few days. I would highly recommend this place. As a bonus there is a cluster of very good and healthy middle eastern and other restaurants. I would go back for the falafel any day of the week.

When you go to SP it's not just SP.
When you go to SP it's not just SP. Boat rides to towns like San Juan, San Marcus, Panajachel, etc. are right there! Colorful, full of culture, markets, education and experience. SP is a great place to base yourself in; especially if you are Jewish/kosher. It's near chabad, 2 kosher restaurants and the docks to take you to all the other villages/towns.

It should be a five quetzal to get anywhere in the main area of San Pedro in Tuk Tuk. If you go to the El Mirador have the tuk tuk to wait for you or it can be hard getting one back to town. The 5B ATM machines charge large fees so try to get money before you go here. For cheap food go to either of the Tacomexs. A lot of locals wash their clothes in the lake so if you want to swim go to San Marcos.

San Pedro is full of night life and back packers.
San Pedro is full of night life and back packers. It is very safe and it is easy to access most other parts of Lake Atitlan. Be prepared with cash as many places do not accept credit cards, and if they do they add a large fee. My only major criticism is it is so touristy that they do not have much local Guatemalan food!! The food is not great in the city.

this place has a very comfortable, at home feel. it’s a little confusing to get to the first time around but once you’ve gone once, it’s a quick walk from “downtown” through little warrens and alleyways with lots to see and great coffee along the way.
There’s a very clean community kitchen and a shared rooftop terrace right in the lake.
i had the tiny economy room with the bunk beds which I called my little monks quarters, but it was charming, clean and comfortable at a budget rate in a hotel that does not feel “budget.”
The property is on the outside of San Pedro la Laguna, meaning it was more tranquil than a lot of places you could stay there. The owners are really nice people who take a lot of care to bring wonderful customer service and helped us as much as possible. Our room had a gorgeous view of the lake and it was a delight to wake up there each morning. Having parking was also a plus!
Staff where super honest and didn’t rip me off. It was spotless clean, towel was displayed nicely on the bed. Generous when I asked for soap and gave two. Would have been nice to have shampoo but seems like majority of the hotels here don’t give so I wasn’t expecting it. The best hotel I’ve stayed while in Guatemala for very affordable price
Julio and his family took really good care of me and made me feel more than welcome!
Julio also helped me with transit to Guatemala City and made sure everything worked out great.
The breakfast served there is also some of the best food I had in Guatemala and it was a joy to wake up to :)
This was one of the most beautiful hotels on our travels so far.
The setting is absoloutely stunning and just a short walk to all the action
The staff really made it for me though and they made the experience . Super kind , great chats and very helpful.
Best hostel where I've been in Guatemala :) Nice staff, small cottages, good kitchen, tasty breakfast, good location, area for co-working, events, tuktuk service, nice views from terrace and events etc :) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I liked that it was a few "blocks" away from the party hostels. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic, but clean. On my third night they offered a promotion that included free breakfast.
Yes, Sublime bar in front of the hotel has amazing service food and music. It might be a little too loud during the night if what you are looking for is peace, but we weren't bothered by it.
The owners were really lovely and kind and wanted to give us anything we needed. The facilities are ok albeit a little bit basic. The breakfast was delicious, the best we had in Guatemala.
