We absolutely loved our stay at the Tirena hotel. Breakfast was lovely, we were able to use the facilities in the neighbouring sister hotel and the room was beautiful and clean. Staff were all so friendly and helpful, the spa of the sister hotel was modern and relaxing and location was perfect. We loved being just outside of Dubrovnik to be able to also relax on our holiday. Direct bus outside of the hotel which takes you to the center of old town in 15min or you could get a quick uber for 6-8 euros.

The Pearl of the Adriatic

A medieval beauty full of magnificence and glory, Dubrovnik is surrounded by white stone walls. Located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, this masterpiece is one of the most promising tourist destinations.

Passing through the imposing stone gate of Pile Gate, you will find yourself immersed in history. Take a walk in the narrow streets of this charming city, enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the colorful cafés, or order fresh fish in one of the outdoor restaurants.

Dubrovnik is an ideal location just for itself but also as a base to explore neighboring Montenegro and Bosnia. The city is beautiful with it's historic sites and cobbled alleyways. Good lodging(Apartment Ana) and restaurants( The Arsenal) abound. Do the City Walls tour and wander to find the Buza bars. There will be crowds in summer but just take a deep breath and with patience it's enjoyable.

Lovely clean city. Facilities for visitors were excellent. Some lovely excursions and activities.. a walking tour is a must and also we did a sunset boat trip which was amazing. The people were incredibly friendly and helpful everywhere we went. Nice food....pricy in the old town but good quality and worth the money because of ambiance etc. In May 2024, when we were there, it was very busy but not mobbed and the weather was perfect. Tour guides described June, July and August as crazy because of the heat, the crowds and the passengers from the cruise ships which overwhelm the city. Dubrovnik has a population of about 42,000 people and more than 3 million visitors . However there are great efforts being made to maintain Dubrovnik as a 'place' and not a 'product'. I'd highly recommend a visit in the low season. Be warned....lots of steps in the old town.....I counted 130 to get from the road down to the old town main street. So bionic knees are a must!!!!

I loved going into Old Town - make sure you walk around the wall! Be warned - food and souvenirs are not that cheap, so plan accordingly. Buza Beach is also popular, as is doing a cruise. Lokrum island is popular. You can get ice-cream for 2.50 euros, so don’t get conned into spending more than that.

Dubrovnik has been on my bucketlist for 2 decades, and it did not disappoint. I'm glad I visited in early June - it was already quite busy - I can't imagine how crowded it gets in July & August. I highly recommend staying in the Old Town, if that's what you're coming for. It was nice to have a quiet retreat, and to be able to enjoy the quieter early morning time.

Nikolina is a great host, we received a warm welcome from her! And fresh juice. The bathroom is beautiful and very clean! The balcony is very nice and quiet and we have a nice view. The room is quiet enough. Also thanks to other quiet guests. The location is great, it is between the new town and the old town, easy to go anywhere. We spent 3 nights here, and it is the best option to explore Dubrovnik, if you like relaxing trip. (One day old town, one day new town, one day lokrum island.) We recommend this place 100%.

Mali Stradun was a great accomodation for us (2 adults + 2 teenagers). Access to nearby hotel's pool was excellent, as well as the breakfast option. The environment was peaceful and we felt safe. The beach was close and it was great to go for a walk/jog in the mornings. It was very easy to get to the Old Town with the bus, although the buses were crowded. Our host Tomi was most helpful, meeting us when we arrived and arranging us the airport transportation. All in all, a lovely vacation in Dubrovnik!

This place was a dream - especially after leaving an unacceptable hotel in the heart of Old Town, Dubrovnik. This room was airy, impeccably clean, with a stove, a mini-fridge, a small work table with 2 chairs, and a lovely large clean bathroom with the best shower! It is less than a mile from the Old Town, were you can hear the birds sing and smell the flowers. An easy walk into town on a very scenic path. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes the comforts of home away from home.

Thank you to Ana especially for making my stay in Dubrovnik so incredible! The rooms were large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Blue Promenade was charming, private, clean and comfortable. The host, Iva, was terrific and gave us great advice on things to do and restaurants to go to and how best to get everywhere. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen (with a washing machine!). bathroom and free Netflix. Iva left delicious fruit, apple juice and candy treats. All which we enjoyed. We liked being out of the old town where we could walk the promenade and see another part of Dubrovnik life.

This is a 5 star property. The location near to old town center is very convenient. The hotel has very nice facilities - pool, health club and spa, as well as a very good fine dining restaurant. The city view rooms have a spectacular vista of the walled city. The breakfast included is great - the usual huge European buffet of cheese, cold cuts, and breads with lots of goodies. The cooked to order hot items were very good (e.g. eggs Benedict and other choices).

Great little boutique Hotel! All new. In an old barque noble house in the center of the old town of Dubrovnik. Charming staff. Really special.
