We had an amazing experience at the property and with their partners. The customer service was exceptional from the moment we checked in to when we checked out. Throughout our stay, we had the opportunity to explore the charming old town. After a full day of walking, we treated ourselves to a stunning sunset by the pool, accompanied by some delightful drinks.
Our kids adored the pool and also had a blast at the nearby beaches. The property offered a wide range of activities for children, including Mario jumping trampolines, Lego play areas, an indoor playground, and game systems for the teenagers.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely delightful and definitely not to be missed. The variety of dishes served was outstanding, and the quality was top-notch.

A medieval beauty full of magnificence and glory, Dubrovnik is surrounded by white stone walls. Located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, this masterpiece is one of the most promising tourist destinations.
Passing through the imposing stone gate of Pile Gate, you will find yourself immersed in history. Take a walk in the narrow streets of this charming city, enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the colorful cafés, or order fresh fish in one of the outdoor restaurants.
Surrounded by turquoise waters, Dubrovnik Old Town sights include the picturesque Stradun, Onofrio fountain and the Franciscan monastery.

You have the best of both worlds with the historic old town...
You have the best of both worlds with the historic old town and beaches. There can be quite a distance between either, depending where you're staying but there are regular buses from all over, usually terminating at the old town.
We were there in June and the temperature was in the low 30s which was too hot for walking round the walls! Ideal for the beach though.
But definitely walk the walls - probably best early morning or late afternoon/evening) We found that there is very little to do for free so it might be worth considering a Dubrovnik tourist pass if you're planning on visiting various attractions/venues.
Dubrovnik is very hilly, you'll have to walk up a hill or steps at some point.
Dubrovnik is not cheap. Eating in the old town is expensive (as you would expect). We ate in 3 restaurants - Mea Culpa (old town 52.30 EUR - pasta) , Burger House Republik (old town 45.30 EUR burgers) and Restoran Zrinski (cheapest, in Gruz 33.80 EUR pizzas). Main meal for 2 with one alcoholic drink and mineral water. All food was excellent.
Parking is not cheap (in summer) and it's difficult to find free spaces. Might be worth considering accommodation that has parking. You're unlikely to use your car in Dubrovnik.

Safe town, tap water good for drinking.
Safe town, tap water good for drinking.
The bus service is very good and they have own phone app (Libertas App), with time tables and line information.
I liked the Lapad promenade and walking the Old town walls and visiting old abandoned Kupari hotel resort. Be careful and watch your step if you are swimming in the sea, as there is lot of sea urchins.
Best meal I had was in Tuttobene-restaurant, it was also best value for money.
Dubrovnik pass is worth purchasing if you plan to use the buses and see the tourist attractions. Show the pass on the kiosk at the bus stop and you will get the card for travelling in buses. Notice that suburban lines are not included on the Dubrovnik pass.
In general I found more beach life and tourism than real life, especially in the Lapad area. If you are football enthusiast, Lapad is your area during the football championships, 98% restaurants are showing the games. Prices in general are not cheap for Finnish travellers.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about Dubrovnik.
There wasn't anything I didn't like about Dubrovnik. On the absolute must list:
- Walk the old town wall (35 euros, lots of stairs, not a lot of shade)
- Take a boat trip to the nearby islands. I used Dubrovnik Island Tours. They were great.
- Eat the local food
- Drink the local wine

This is a very charming city, beautifully maintained and easy to get around by bus. But beware of the steps and stairs everywhere you go, especially in the old town.
We found it difficult to get a bargain meal at eateries - nothing under 10€.
If you want to so something special, take the cable car to Panorama restaurant and stay for the sunset. It’s quite pricey but well worth it for the experience.
We stayed in a lovely apartment practically next door to Lero Hotel for 3 days and that was perfect.

Dubrovnik Old Town is spectacular, but terribly overcrowded, hot, and unbelievably expensive. EUR 35 just to walk the walls of the Old Town; EUR 25 for the 4-minute cable-car ride; and restaurants and shops very overpriced (and this is after visiting Venice, where we expected things to be expensive but in the end weren't so bad). On our last day we escaped to Dubrovnik's Lapad peninsula, which was gloriously green, cool, relaxing, with great swimming and better (and cheaper) restaurants.

there are no cars in the old city, fantastic, there are a lot of steps,
Beautiful buildings, clean, loved the history, the guides are very knowledgeable. we found it expensive, coming from S. Africa, but every where is expensive, from S. Africa. we had a great time.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was fabulous, better than many 5 star hotels. Dinner was also superb - though the menu was limited and a little pricey. Highly recommend to eat here at least one evening if staying at the hotel.
The bed was firm and super-comfortable. Great for a refreshing night's sleep.
Location was what we wanted. Far enough from the old town to be away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to be able to walk (15+mins). Lots of buses and taxis if you didn't fancy the after dinner walk back.
Best part of this hotel is the awesome breakfast options, I have seldom seen so much breakfast options as they have. Easily you can skip lunch if you take breakfast slight late around 10 am The Hotel is also located just opposite to ferry port near to the Lapad beach. Bus stop is just opposite to the hotel. Amazing view of the port from the hotel balcony. Parking 15 euros per day if you want to keep your car here. Room also nice and comfortable. All in all superb hotel option in Dubrovnik around 3 kms from Old Town of Dubrovnik.
We were in room 721. This room probably has the best view in the hotel. I booked it specifically for that reason. The view was worth the nearly $600 per night. Unobstructed view of old town with beautiful sunrise and sunset lighting. The location was perfect for short walk to the east end of old town. Buffet breakfast was sumptuous. Overall service was five star. As a world-class traveler, this is one of the favorite spaces we’ve ever occupied.
A great location by the beach. The nearest supermarket is a ten minute walk away along the sea front. Uber is incredibly efficient and cheap so you pop into the old town in Dubrovnik whenever you want (although the journey can take 20+ minutes if the traffic is bad). There's a lovely beach bar (Ponat) a one minute walk away and some fancier hotel beach clubs/bars/restaurants (Coral/Copacabana) another five or ten minutes walk after that.
Our room overlooked the Old Town, Lokrum Island, and the Adriatic, all with a balcony to watch the sunsets.
With a room outside of the bedroom and a washing machine we had everything we could want. Our host, Nico, met us there and gave us a thorough tour of all of the room’s amenities. As in most of Dubrovnik, you will have a few stairs to navigate, but Nico even provided us with the best route to/from the Old Town.
Amazing hotel! Karla (the host) was brilliant, very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. The hotel room was very modern and clean, with luxury toiletries. Hotel is right in the centre of Old Town so everything was on our doorstep. Less than 5 min walk to the entrance for the City Walls. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Dubrovnik. Thank you Karla for such an enjoyable stay!
Beautiful location and perfectly placed for walks and the beach. Access to Dubrovnik Old Town was just a 10 minute walk to a bus stop. The hotel staff were friendly and charming - nothing was too much trouble . The food was delicious and breakfast was varied and sitting out on the terrace was a delight.
Our room was on the top floor and was huge with a hot tub on a stunning balcony overlooking the sea.
Calm however very well located (20mins by walk from the city center, closest beach is within 5 mins). Host is very nice and flexible. We did not know when we booked but the apartments are shared with Nuns whom taking care about the garden and live there generally. It was amazing, we got Blessed when we left. None of the 5 star luxury hotels have this service :)
Antonio who greeted us and checked us in and out was absolutely brilliant with help- especially with luggage ! , but also excellent advice and just so professional .
The hotel is in a perfect location in the beautiful Old Town of Dubrovnik , and the Dominus Little Palace is such a wonderful place to stay , in keeping with the traditions of the Old Town
Hotel is located in lapad a part of the City Dubrovnik. Beide the hotel is a supermarket. With a 7 min walk you can reach the beach. Next to the hotel is a bus station. The Bus line number 6 reachs the old town within 20 minutes. Every 15 minutes a bus stops there. The appartment had his own small kitchen two bathrooms and a terrace. Very good located hotel.
Location was amazing, right on the beach on the Lapad Bay. Clean room, daily cleaning, helpful staff. Live music almost every evening at the hotels outdoor terrace. Fresh breakfast. Close to many restaurants, different beaches with good connection by bus to the old town. Considering prices around on the Bay, that was ok to be in Dubrovnik.
It is not my first time in Rixos and I am always coming back. This hotel is located very close to city centre and you can reach old town of Dubrovnik by foot within 15 minutes of refreshing walk and meanwhile witnessing beautiful views but the best in this hotel is SPA and staff…that is why I always come back.
We had a superior room with a large balcony with a view of the Adriatic. It was gorgeous. The room was large and very nice with a slink decor. I definitely recommend this hotel. It is an easy taxi drive to Dubrovnik Old Town and a beautiful one.
Denis is an amazing host, very kind and helpful. Apartment is beautiful with an amazing view. Very near to old town, easily reachable by taxi at very low fare. Best part is this apartment has a parking which is very much required in Dubrovnik.
This is a brand new (or quasi brand new) hotel. Our room is very spacious and clean. The hotel is well located to visit not only the old town but also other parts of Dubrovnik. The breakfast is excellent. We very much enjoyed our stay here!
We really like the unique look of this hotel. Parking under the hotel was very convenient. Very modern and comfortable bedroom and bath. Would recommend and stay at again. Easy to walk downtown old town Dubrovnik from this location.
Lovely location fantastic views and only a short walk to local bars and restaurants, bus stop right outside the hotel to take you into Dubrovnik old town. Staff were lovely and very helpful
