Quiet and clean, very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and was kept clean. Staff are pleasant at the reception desk and plenty of secure parking. The elevator was nice, too, since we did have a bit of luggage. The request for where I wanted my room was also granted.

Zagreb is an amazing city. Small but beautiful. A lot of interesting neighborhoods like upper town, the center, the Kaptol and Jarun lake. It has a lots of restaurants with various types of cousine. The residents are kind, friendly and english spoken. It's easy to reach every part of the city by public transport but there are also a lot of taxis and uber.

My favourite things were the beautiful buildings .
My favourite things were the beautiful buildings . The main cathedral and Saint Marks church with the crests of Croatia & Zagreb city on the roof done in coloured tiles is superb . The funicular tram that takes you from the lower town to the upper town is fun with beautiful views over the city . The ww2 war tunnel is nice to walk through as well . The Dolac and Britanski farmers markets are colourful with traders selling their fruit , veg and flowers . Britanski market transforms into a antique market on a Sunday morning . I picked up some very nice small items there , and i would have bought more , but had to be careful about the weight allowance flying home . There is a winding street not far from Dolac market , that is lined with cafes , bars and restaurants , that cater for all tastes and budgets . I liked the Irish Bar close to Dolac Market , as it had live music most nights . But bars , cafes , and restaurants are scattered all over the city , so you wont have to travel far . Trams are by far the cheapest means of traveling around Zagreb . 53 cent each for a 30 minute journey and even if you change to another tram , the same tickets will do , as long as you are within the 30 minutes . You will travel a long way in that time , as they move quite fast , and run every 10 - 15 minutes . The wife liked the shopping centres . A underground shopping centre in Tomislav square , that you could miss easily and the Arena Centre are the 2 that most spring to mind ! . Take the number 7 tram from the bus station with arena Zagreb as the destination . Its a 30 minute plus journey right to the end of the line . Tram does a little loop to return the way it came . It is a ten minute walk from there . You will see the Zagreb stadium and the shopping centre is next to it . It is huge , so guys be ready to kiss your wife and credit cards goodbye , as you will not be seeing either for quite a few hours !!!

3rd time in Zagreb...3rd and last as our wallets were stolen and this destroyed our trip as we spend most of our time trying to report to the police..a shame as it is a nice city but police should be more present especially in major squares.

Zagreb is split into two parts upper ( old town ) lower ( new town ).For me it still has a strong communist area feel. The city must have been very beautiful before the first world was and surely will be again once they have repaired all the buildings they are currently working on. Very little open to see as quite everything was being renovated or repaired which as you can imagine was a big disappointment.
Be warned, this city is COVERED and I do mean COVERED in graffiti ! Nothing is spared Churches, historic building all get stickers plastered on them or spray painted. To me it’s shocking how little regard the local inhabitants or city hall / government have for their beautiful city, it’s their capital after all !
The food is very good and the people friendly.

Walking along the streets, resteurants, having coffee in the main square and watch stylish Zagrebians pass by. The museum of Zagreb and its amazinfg history. Best Indian resteaurant. Charming city with a soul. I dont undertand why it is underrated. It deserves more attention than Vienna or Budapest. People are genuinely nice and heloful.
Very comfortable beds. Rooms although slightly outdated decor-wise, were clean and spacious. Location was good, ideal if arriving in Croatia late at night as the hotel is close to the airport and provides late check ins and free parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was varied and delicious, also included in the room rate.
Beautiful boutique hotel, very nice and large rooms, modern and well designed. In the city centre, very close to the main squares, restaurants and bars.
The parking garage is very close to the hotel, only 3-4 minutes from the hotel and not expensive for my 24h stay.
Very kind receptionists and very helpful.
Breakfast was good, great selection. The rooms are incredibly spacious and beautiful. Bathroom was also very spacious. The price was very good for accomodations like this. Tram stops in multiple directions are right outside the hotel and the city center is within walking distance.
The location is very convenient for me who relies on bus from Zagreb Airport and onward journey to other cities. It is convenient to travel to other parts of Zagreb as the tram stops are just outside the hotel.
