One of the first Bali resorts, Kuta has a long, sandy beach and great nightlife - reasons why it’s one of Indonesia’s top tourist spots.
Another popular draw is Kuta surfing. From gentle rollers to lefthanders, the waves are great for all abilities. Several shops in town sell big-brand surf gear at knockdown prices, while other shopping options include Kuta Square, Discovery Mall and Bali Mall Galleria.

When the sun goes down, the heat goes up, as the bars and clubs in party zone Jalan Legian kick into life. For something more refined, the bars by Kuta Beach waterfont are a great spot to watch the sunset with a refreshing cocktail.
If you’re up early enough to see the Sanur Beach sunrise, you might get to see locals throwing traditional offerings into the sea. Spirituality is a big part of Balinese life and there are yoga and meditation classes, not to mention spas to revive the senses.
The gateway to southern Bali, Denpasar Airport is right on the edge of the town, so it won’t be long before you can stretch out and soak up the sun.

We liked everything about Kuta. Just the wrong choice of the hotel made it boring. It has got a fabulous beach, beach walk shopping, great restaurants , great sight seeing places and great shopping. . 2 days are more Than enough for Kuta. For getting around just hire bikes and off you go. It will save you time and money. Also you can see and appreciate the outdoors when you go around on a bike. You can go deep insde the villages and explore the greens. Avoid tour packages .Fernandes - 10Scored 10

Kuta is re establishing itself after being decimated from Covid lockdown see. Kuta beach is the cleanest I have ever seen it in 10 years they are working hard to keep the beaches clean. It felt similar to Seminyak. The beach s not as good, in that it does not have restaurants on the beach like Seminyk has. Kuta beach mall is nice if you're looking to shop brands and pay western prices. There are plenty of restaurants in Kuta, plenty of tourist shops, plenty of tour booking angencies, currency exchange etc... Very convinient in that it is not far from the airport and not far from Waterbom water park.

When you cross the street there is plenty of cheap streetfood. The reastaurant of the hotel is one of the most common and visited in kuta, always lots of visitors and the food was fresh. When you forget your room card the staff is in front of your door to open it before you even reach your room, super quick service.
