Being 10km from Kilkee and the Pollock Holes which are natural sea water pools was wonderful for swimming. White Strand was 20min walk and 10min drive. Also we had a boat trip out to the Cliffs of Moher from Doolin. Highly recommend this area for a lovely restful quiet holiday with plenty of good sea air on the Wild Atlantic Way. stayed in the bungalow in glascloune, doonbeg hosted by Brigit and pat kelly. Couldn't meet nicer people, they would go above and beyond to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable holiday trip. The Bungalow was absolutely spotless, cozy, spacious, and had free wifi. we would recommend this bungalow for any couple or family. The White strand beach is only a 2 mins drive away and the village of Doonbeg is 5 mins drive where you find pubs, restaurants, and local shop. I loved my stay in Doonbeg.
I loved my stay in Doonbeg. The view from the cottages is beautiful and there is loads to do in the area. You need a car though as nothing is within walking distance. Thankfully, Trump's resort is more or less hidden from view and you can completely ignore it. The people are lovely and kind and helpful.Guest review byTrionaIreland

If you look for typical cold and unwelcome hotel room.. don't go there.. The hosts are the most amazing couple ever.. You feel like a part of family.. not stranger.. Even that there is no breakfast - the hosts prepare for you absolutely yummy toast and coffee/tea. We are planning to go back there next year just to be part of that amazing experience again.
