Really enjoyed the food, all meals were great along with an incredible dinner own the outdoor patio. The location is superb and the staff really made the experience enjoyable.

On the site of the former Clifden Railway Station, Clifden Station House offers well-appointed bedrooms and self-catering apartments. There is a pool and Connemara National Park is a 15-minute drive.

Breakfast both mornings of our 2 night stay was lovely. Full Irish well cooked, plenty of tea and toast/coffee and cereals etc. Servers were friendly and polite and service was prompt. The hotel is excellently located in the town centre of Clifden and public car parking is available on the street outside and is free between 7pm and 9am. Rooms are basic but shower pressure was good.

Eriu Lodge is located in Moyard, 26 mi from Westport. Free private parking is available on site.

Hosts were so very nice, and the full Irish breakfast was tasty! Bed was comfortable, everything was clean, including the bathroom, and there's a few tea options in the room for you :) Wish we could've stayed longer!

Everything was c l a s s ! Szilvia is amazing, such a kind and attentive host (: She had a lovely 5 star breakfast ready for us in the morning. Unreal! The location is right in the town center, just a few steps away from shops, restaurants and pubs. The room is very cozy, with a lovely view of Clifden. Private parking spot in the basement. Definitely recommend
