The accommodations were just great, with three rooms in an apartment like scenario, my family filled up all the rooms, so we were spoiled as we had it all to ourselves. Lots of colorful tiles on the floor and walls, with lots of beautiful artwork painted by the owner. But it was the charm of the owners, Mena & Luigi that sets this place apart from others. Of course the small fishing village with it's slow pace was just perfect for my group.

CETARA is a cost-effective option for accommodation on the Amalfi Coast. However it is a very small fishing village and hence nothing much to do. We found that the quality of restaurants were not up to our expectations although the prices were very high.

Great location for exploring the Amalfi coast due to good Bus and ferry connections. Also not as crowded as other places on the Amalfi Coast, so great for going to the beach and to restaurants. Pompei, Vesuvius and Ercolano are also close enough to visit from Cetara on day trips.

The apartment is very modern and the kitchen had everything you needed. The finishings were high quality and the place was spotless. The location is about 500m from the ferry up a gentle hill. It is located on the main street within walking distance to many great restaurants. The host was so accommodating and very helpful. He responded quickly and helped recommend a shuttle too. This is a fantastic place for a short visit to Cetara. The only downside was the place was a little closed in as there is no balcony and only a few small port size ( 2’x4’) windows. There is a bench right outside the door beside the common staircase leading up to other homes to get some fresh air. Cetara is a rather unknown city on the Amalfi coast. It is known tor the seefood and rather relaxed atmosphere. It's just much more quiet and down to earth than Amalfi city or Positano, and I mean that in a good way. There is a small but nice beach, possibility to take a ferry along the Amalfi coast and several hiking possibilities for those who want to experience more than the sealife. There are several good restaurants serving fresh local seafood. We had the impression that the tourists were mostly locals.Sten ErikNorway - 10Scored 10

It was a lovely place to visit. Shopkeepers we’re friendly and helpful. Most people were friendly Traffic was terrible spent walks dodging cars and mopeds If you do not eat fish dishes main choice of food is pizza No taxi service in Cetera

The owners were helpful and receptive when I had a travel emergency and needed to stay one more night. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the chocolate shop about 3 minutes away from the property. The beach and the center are near. A/C and wifi work very well. You wake up into a smell of homemade pastry for breakfast. There is a nice terrace with a view on the roof. All together, we felt so good there, not just because of good quality accommodation, but because of hospitality and atmosphere so wonderfully made by the ladies who own the place. Thank you for this memory.

Room has an incredible view, the private beach is calm and discrete which is amazing for relaxing day at the beach, the breakfast, lunch and service from waiters were all excellent. The city is small but very charming, with very nice people and seafood restaurants. I am very happy I stoped by there and I can only recommend Cetara and Hotel Cetus.HamzaSwitzerland

They welcome guests like good friends. The tent is big and the mattress super comfortable. You can feel the love for detail at their campsite.
