Booked here as a stopover based on train from Sicily and departure next day on the ferry. Location was perfect, close to train station and ferry port as well as good restaurant options. Not noisy. Staff extremely helpful and breakfast very good, lots of choices. We'd stay again!

It has big rooms, look more modern than most Italian rooms, it has a pool and is near the beach. The staff is great, all of them are willing to help you specially Julia! She helped me many times and was really happy to help each time.
The AC worked okay all of our stay.

After running around Italy for 2 weeks we came to Salerno to slow down & relax and Saint Joseph Resort was the perfect place to do so. Right on the water with a private beach area (15€ ea for full day - 2 chairs with umbrella). My husband and I just layed by the beach or on our terrace. It is away from downtown but the friendly front staff is more than happy to schedule you a cab. Will definitely return in the future.

We stayed in Salerno and made day trips to Amalfi or Positano by ferry. We found the town easy to navigate and some interesting sights and back streets and alleys. Lots of food options and we did not have a dud meal here. Prices reasonable compared to Positano and Amalfi. Easy to get to by train or car.

Salerno is a great spot to save on cost, but have all the options to explore Almafi coast in day trips. Ferrys, cars, boats, scooters, trains, buses - it's all right here and easy to figure out.
We rented a car to go to an organic buffalo mozzarella farm and check out the Greek ruins in Paestum - definitely do this! Paestum park is very enjoyable. Rented a car to go parasailing with Carlo and friends at Parapendio Tandem Paestum. Carlo and company are great at what they do, and ensure you not only have a great jump but also a safe one. Find him on IG @parapendio_tandem_paestumxmt
Salerno is a great base for exploring Almafi and saving so much on cost, which allows for more excursions and experiences! Don't over pay for Alma or Positano. Rent a scooter or jump on a water taxi from Salerno.

Salerno is a great affordable base to the busy and expensive Amalfi/Positano areas. You can easily access Amalfi and Positano via ferry, bus or private boat and then return to a less hectic and more affordable place at the end of each day.
Very nice place to stay, central to Salerno central. 10 mins from train 🚆
Room was spotless everyday.
Stefania was really nice and very helpful.
One bad point ....... be wary of the lift. Its kinda old and broke down between floors 😆 enroute to catch a train lol
Overall though would recommend the hotel.
The staff were amazing and the room allocated to us was the best in the house. It made our stay most memorable. The reception staff did everything possible to assist with directions and late checkout etc. Definitely underrated hotel and one to stay at if you’re in Salerno.
The location of hotel is the best in Salerno. Both the port and the bus stop are close to the hotel.
The rooms was very clean and comfortable, check-in is very easy with lockbox of keys. The host let us to leave our luggage before check-in time.
Our host Rosanna was always helpful giving us hints on where to go and for a price she even helped with some laundry I needed to get done. The hotel has all the facilities you need and the location is right at the centre of Salerno.
