It's a wonderful place right by the sea. We saw sea from our bad. Beach is huge and very beautiful. It's now new, but well kept. Although they speak very little English, the staff is wonderful. As they have a restaurant and a bar, you can spend time there without even going anywhere. You would probably need a car to conveniently get there, but it is worth it.

Room and view was nice. Restaurant food is pretty rustic but perfectly fine. Breakfast was tasty, though Italian-style, plenty of sweet stuff, not so much in the savory department.

Hard to put it all into a small box but the main thing was the staff , everyone was always so nice and welcoming. Breakfast, lunch , dinner were all reserved waiting for us each day. The owner Fabio , wow what can I say this man takes pride in his hotel and rightly so the place is a hidden gem. The views by the pool are like something from a movie , the bedrooms are spotless and the entire area itself was also spotless. Fantastic food prepared for all meals throughout the day

Maratea is a dream destination. A tiny lovely village up in the mountains, stunning beaches and the charm of countryside in between. Safe, welcoming, affordable. Suitable for families and teenagers, there are plenty of boat excursions and water sport facilities so one doesn’t get bored. Social but not too crowded. Will definitely come back!
Just careful, it’s vertical so distances seem to be much bigger and a car/bus is often necessary

Spread over a wide area on a dizzying hill side you need a vehicle to enjoy it fully. Our experience was marred by an occlusion that kept the sun away the whole time. The main centre up a winding road was plagued with cars even in the pedestrian zone. There was nothing special to see. The beach in Fuimicello is grey shingle neither comfortable nor welcoming although there is one convenient hotel bar to enjoy. The statue on the hillside appeared occasionally through the gloom.

Very nice small town, geared towards tourism, set on a stunning landscape, between the sea and spectacular mountains. We only had a walk around as we wanted to spend our time on the beach. However we stopped at Pasticceria Panza to taste their bocconotti: delicious!
This is truly the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in ever. It has so much character, the furniture, the art work, all add to the charm of this unique building which used to be a monastery. the views over Maratea are spectacular. The owners and staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable, very clean, and we had a lovely balcony. The restaurant is perfect. The area beside pool and hot tub so pretty perfect for relaxing. 10/10 all the way for this place.

WOW!!!! There is no other word for how wonderful our stay was! Angela is a fabulous host who greeted us with genuine warmth and joy (and fabulous aperitivo!) Stunning views in a very quiet location. Our room was beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable. Angela prepared the most amazing fresh breakfast for us both mornings - we ate like kings 😍 The local restaurant is also very good and a five minute walk, best fresh fish I've had in Italy. Thank you Angela ❤️
We enjoyed a warm welcome by the host who made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The whole property was spotless clean and our room was comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay plus the amazing views. Unlike many BnBs we experienced in Italy there was an actual breakfast room with humble but nice variety and fresh croissants on top of that. Maratea is a little gem and La Giancarla BnB made our stay there perfect.
We were traveling by train. Le Tre Casette is ideally situated a short walk from the station -and- a 10-minute walk to the port.
The owners were marvelous, sharing the history of their home and of Maratea. They also recommended restaurants within walking distance of Le Tre Casette.
Our room had a gorgeous view of the port and the sea, with no traffic noise to disturb our slumber.
We were very happy with our stay. The hotel staff extremely friendly and accommodating, everything as described and shown on Booking.com. Breakfast was delicious and included fresh and regional products. One of the staff members suggested we drive up the mountain to the statue of Christ (redentore) for the magnificent view. We were so glad we did. Thank you!
Villa Degli Aranci was the perfect, affordable stay to spend a few days around the beach Spiaggia Cent’Ammari which was our destination. The hotel room was clean and tidy with breathtaking views over the bay and to the ‘Statua del Redentore’. We also had perfect breakfast with home made orange marmelade. Staying this hotel is highly recommended!
What a lovely spot! Our host Margherita grew up in the house and her relatives live in the area nearby. The garden is her passion and we got the benefit at breakfast with homemade sweets, marmalades and fruits. Many thanks to Margherita and her daughter Serena for sharing this special place with us.
This was a beautiful stay, the hosts were so kind and helpful. A gorgeous home and town. They gave us great recommendations and had a beautiful breakfast prepared. A lovely balcony with a beautiful view of Maratea. Would absolutely recommend!
Such a beautiful little hotel, up above Maratea, and walkable to the town centre. Fantastic views from the room and the poolside, and a lovely family run atmosphere- they were so helpful with any questions we had. So glad we stayed.
Very welcoming and generous hosts!
We had a wonderful stay in the charming, old-style apartment in the lovely town of Maratea. Warm, pleasant evenings on the patio...
We'll definitely be back!
Thank you Maria Rosaria and Franco!
The location is as good as it gets - right in the main square of little old town Maratea - absolutely gorgeous. The hosts are a married couple who run the store underneath the room and are as sweet and as helpful as could be.
Great family-run B&B right in the center of old Maratea, nice rooms and beautiful terrasse. Very helpful staff, The old city ist just a minute away with lots of good restaurants.
Excellent breakfast. The hotel staff were welcoming, helpful and professional. The best part of this hotel was the location. It is situated on the beach with incredible views.
This is one of the best resorts I've been in
I have no words to describe this piece of art.
Starting from the vintage rooms to the most delicious dinner, beach, staff, spa...
The hotel was stunning and was just so comfortable! The staff were incredible and were so helpful and kind. We felt really spoilt and well looked after! Thank you!!
