Location, Location, Location. If you need a few days out from Rome or a crash pad a few nights before your flight out this is by far the best option. Luca’s (the host) communications were never more than a couple minutes and he met us at the property to show us exactly how everything worked. The amenities for the location are spectacular. There is a grocery store, bars, restaurants, and cafes within a 100 ft. Notice that all those locations are plural, multiple options for dining and drinking. Great pastries and coffee for breakfast, and some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten across the piazza. Inside the apartment was also fantastic. Everything was super clean and looked to be recently remodeled. Old world charms were still apparent with cutouts in the drywall showcasing ancient brick work and concrete casting. We didn’t use the kitchen but everything looked to be in order and again super clean. The bathroom was updated and the walk in shower was nice. Plenty of hot water for the three guests that shared the space. There was one bed and it was firm (the way I like a mattress) so I thought it was the best, and a pullout couch that my little boy used.

Very spacious place and have everything you need, feels like home
On second thought, we must add more to our review.
On second thought, we must add more to our review. We asked before booking about the time to get to the airport(for a very early flight), and the reply was "It only takes 15 minutes and we'll show you when you get here." It seemed okay, so we booked. But, in fact, it was 40 minutes, in just regular traffic. And, the cost was by taxi for 37 euros. We had to run through the airport and arrived at the gate with only 10 minutes to spare!! Very stressful and unfair to us.
When it said breakfast provided, we had to prepare it for ourselves. Also, the night before, we were told that the little town had several options for purchasing dinner but the options were closed. The place to buy ticket for the bus was closed, so we walked back the 1 km., maybe more, to get back. The hosts didn't seem to think about this.
The kindness nature of the hosts made us accept the situation with good humor and we tried to be positive. However, in hindsight, we were disappointed. Although thee accommodations itself and the hosts welcome was fine, we regret to say we cannot recommend booking here.

I was visiting to watch the Italy V Wales Six Nations game in Rome. I honestly could not believe what an archaeological historic area Ostia Antica is. So glad i found the time to visit the Roman ruins.

The owners were a lovely Italian couple who spoke enough english for us all to understand each other. Their home is in a great location that allowed us to walk to the ruins in Ostia Antica and to a place for dinner. I was near Christmas and the home was decorated nicely.
Their grandson drove us to the airport, for a charge of course, and we arrived in plenty of time for our flight.
We would stay there again, and recommend it to others.

We stayed one night.
We stayed one night.
It was a clean and comfortable place, the staff were helpful and friendly.
the transfer to the airport was easy and short.
the onsite resturant was good.
we did not have time to use any of the other facilities.
the included breakfast was a little sparce, just cake, pastry, juce and coffee.
the advertised glutin free options were not very obvious, however we did get 2 small packs of very nice busicuts for breakfast, that the waitress found out the back.
all in all a nice place for a stop over.

The archaeological site is enormous and slightly...
The archaeological site is enormous and slightly overwhelming; 5-6 hours was enough for me, although a second visit would have been good. There are some amazing sites there including mosaic flooring, some of which is unrestored and I was surprised to find it actually underfoot. The cafe in the site served lovely salads and hot dishes, not too pricey.
I didn't explore the town but ate at a good bistro for reasonable cost.
Location of the apartment within the old walls of the Borgo made for an exceptionally charming setting. The apartment was within an easy walking distance to the archeological park of Ostia Antica. Nearby shops and restaurants were also convenient. We did find parking a bit difficult, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed out stay. While we did not meet Federica, she quickly responded to all of our email queries and provided us with helpful information about the area.
The property location is awesome! 5 minutes from Ostia Antica and a medieval castle. A grocery store and coffee shops within short walking distance. The apartment had 2 rooms with all essentials we needed. Full kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar, salt, olive oil and sweet treats for kids. Parking is onside, washing machine. The host, Valentina, provided all detailed information we needed to get to the property with pictures and codes. We would definitely come back!
The location was fantastic - right inside the castle walls, under 10 minute walk to the ruins, many restaurants, farmacia and grocery store all nearby. The apartment was charming and our only regret is that we only had 1 night. It is upstairs so if you have mobility issues, this is not a good choice. Pricey cab ride from the airport (should’ve bargained better!) but the host arranged our cab ride to the airport in the morning for 35e.
Excellent location, 20 minute walk to the train station for the train into Rome, 15 minutes walk from the awesome Ostia Antica archeological site. Lovely little town with a good supermarket, bakery, pizzeria.
This apartment was excellent, very comfortable, quiet and clean with everything we needed. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and friendly with lots of advice for places to visit.
The location is perfect for a visit to Ostia Antica. The apartment is set inside the castle walls and the castle is now open for more days than the website says. It is included in the Ostia Antica ticket. Lots of little restaurants around and a supermarket across the road. We regretted only spending one night here. The AC managed the heatwave.
The old farm, the location and the host were amazing!
- The place was spotlessly clean and really charming.
- The location was close to the train station, really useful if you plan a visit to the Rome city center.
- The host Rebecca was polite, helpful and even left us some welcome drinks.
100% would recommend, great experience :)

A great value for the money
Everything was exceptional.
I relaxed in and by the backyard pool.
I had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed.
The host provided juice, yogurt, granola plus more breakfast choices.
The host drove me to the Rome airport for a very reasonable fee.
The owners was absolutely brilliant and couldn’t be helpful enough. The property was very near to the train and bus links. Also near the centre of the area with bars and restaurants and the beautiful and historic Ostia Antica ruins.
The apartment was in a great location - right by Ostia Antica and close to the airport to catch our early-morning flight. It was a very nice apartment and the only regret is that we only spent our last night there!
Very clean and welcoming hotel with generous breakfast, close to Ostia Antica (walking distance) and the airport (by city bus) as well as the city center (via metro train). Highly recommended.
Very close to historic center of Ostia Antica, where you can sit outside and relax at a cafe. a bar, a gelateria, several restaurants. Walking distance to the fantastic archeological park.
The apartment is big and nice, well located in a flower-filled alley near an old castle. It was a very nice stay there. The hostress is very nice and helpful and provide much help to us.
No breakfast was included in my stay BUT they’re located between TWO amazing facilities ( restaurant and bakery) both with perfect services for who decide stay at this hotel!
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The apartment itself was very comfortable and was a great combination to the relaxed atmosphere of Ostia Antica.
