The hosts are extremely accommodating and thoughtful and speak good English. There was everything we needed, well beyond the usual. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, everything works well. It is located in a beautifully well kept garden where you can park your car. Would absolutely return and highly recommend.

The estate is in a beautiful setting with gardens and birds. The apartments are little bungalows that feels very private like your own little house. Staff is very friendly and Erika recommended a great restaurant for our last dinner in Italy. Only 20min drive from the center of Rome but the neighborhood feels like countryside.

Liza, the owner, greeted us at the gate and took our luggage...

Liza, the owner, greeted us at the gate and took our luggage into the house and gave us the keys, showed us the rooms and also the garden that she told us to use any time. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and she had cookies for us. She told us where we could get a Pizza and where we could shop. On the day we were leaving, she came by to say goodbye and we went for a walk with her in the park. She was trying very hard to communicate with us as she spoke Italian and we spoke English. We would have loved to spend more time there with her and we would recommend this place to anyone.

Super cute property! Tastefully decorated and overall clean. Stayed one night but couldn’t enjoy as our flight was super early in the am. Paola, the hostess was amazing. Arranged a taxi for us for 5 am with a trusted driver and recommended a nice restaurant for dinner.

We met nice people. A bit far from Rome. We upgraded because we did not have coffee maker or kettle. Considerable expense. When they could have given us a kettle. Staff was very nice. Strange hours for Resturuant and grocery store. All in all ok but better for families and camping. Pools were good for kids but the water was very cold.

I specifically selected this Hotel to attend the Italian...

I specifically selected this Hotel to attend the Italian Air Force Centenary celebration at the nearby Pratica-di-Mare Airforce Base. As I wasn't there as a Tourist , this Hotel location ticked all the boxes. There is a great Burger & Beer restaurant one block away called the 'Wild West'. This eatery comes highly recommended! There are many other places nearer to the ocean where you could stay, but Casal Palocco was just right for me!

Katrina our hostess was amazing. Greeted us upon Arrival and departure. Made us feel like family. Could not be more helpful! Answered old text messages within seconds! Would highly recommend to stay there!

The town is considered one of the best places to live in the...

The town is considered one of the best places to live in the Rome area. La Gaura is located on a residential street with many large residences in the area. We never visited the center of the town. There was a small retail center no more than a few hundred yards from La Gaura. It included a small grocery store, a laundramat (although La Gaura has a laundry service) and couple of decent restaurants.

Great place to stay for a family when you want to combine some relax for the children in swimming pool (great swimming pool for small children) and visit historical sites of Rome. The bus stop is right next to the camp. In camp, there is everything you need (supermarket, bistro for coffee, evening drinks, ice-cream etc.). It is also close to Ostia, if you want to visit the old roman Ostia town, which is pretty cool (only the beaches in Ostia are not too nice). You need to get a place close to the pool to fully enjoy the stay.

The garden and pool area were beautiful and the host who greeted me was very kind and friendly. She waited up for me until 3am to let me in and show me around the facilities. She also took the taxi drivers number and helped me book my transfer back to the airport in the morning. The breakfast was nice too including my favourite holiday drink Bravo, and the room had everything I need.

The hotel is styled like a medieval castle. Absolutely gorgeous. The room was very spacious and 2/3 beds were comfortable. Breakfast offered a self-serve coffee machine, juice, croissants, cookies, and hard-boiled eggs and a spacious balcony that was very nice to enjoy the breakfast in. Free parking right outside the entrance.

Gorgeous little hotel in a lush green environment. Beautiful garden and breakfast patio amongst the jasmine. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and really nice bed linen. Great swimming pool!
