We loved Baunei.
We loved Baunei. Especially the village itself up in the mountains. Close knit community. Friendly locals and gorgeous mountain views. We had expected to be in closer proximity to the Coastline. But Baunei is a hill top village.AAnn StewartAustralia - 10Scored 10

This small village is just recently explored by tourists, there are good restaurants and bars, beautiful panorama. Houses partly rebuilt and partly in bad, abandoned conditions. It is a perfect place for visiting Supramonte and its beaches.

Baunei in itself is not very interesting, even though the view is splendid. And from here you can reach some of the most breathtaking places in the eastern Sardegna - Gola di Su Goroppu, Cala Goloritzè e Pedra Longa - and the beautiful beach of Santa Maria di Navarrese - and others.

Stunning in every possible way! Everyone local we’re so friendly, we quickly Felt like a part of the furniture. Cafe centro was brilliant and we ate their often, and the gelato shop was incredible too. If you want somewhere with rustic authentic charm then this is the place for you! We did a boat tour to some of the beaches which was amazing and we hired a car so we could explore! Baunei and it coast line is an amazing mixture of mountains and Incredible coast line. Either trek to Cala goloritze and further to take in the spectacular nature or book a guided boat cruise to marvel at the beaches and scenery

It was the best view from any hotel room that we have ever stayed in. We made dinner three times during our stay and sat outside on the balcony while eating. The balcony is larger than shown in the pictures, so it was possible to have two chairs and a table there. We were concerned about the parking possibilities, but we found a parking spot nearby every time.

The view from the terrace over the valley is amazing, especially at sunset. The house has two floors and the design and the details are just lovely. It's a combination of modern and rustic details which will definitely impress you. I can't wait to be back here.
