The staff was friendly and helpful. The gardens on the resort were stunning. Everywhere in the resort was extremely clean. Our room was spacious for our family of four (queen and 2 singles) and had a lovely view towards the ocean. The breakfast was ample, fresh, and tasty. They have staff to serve you so it feels a bit luxurious vs a serve yourself. Our girls loved the playground. There is a beautiful, clean pool with nice views all around. You must wear a bathing cap in the pool. We ate at the restaurant one eve: 5 stars for staff and food there! The shuttle to and from the beach was seamless. We had a great stay!!
Offering a peaceful location between Maratea and its port, Hotel Villa Degli Aranci includes a garden and sun terrace. All bright rooms have views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The breakfast was wonderful!! Lots of croissants, cakes, tarts as well as eggs, bread, fruit. The staff remembered our beverage preferences from day to day. Very clean accommodations. Balcony with a view, available seating on the porch. Would return.

The view from our room was spectacular. The room itself was very beautiful with a lovely little balcony. The dining area and pool area are beautiful, as is the entire hotel, beautifully appointed with lovely art. It was quiet and perfect for us as an older couple.
Hotel Murmann is 656 feet from the beach at Fiumicello and has its own roof garden and pool. A shuttle service is available from the port and the station.

The property was located very close to the sea side and in quiet neighborhood. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was amazing. The hotel had a view of the mountains as well. Totally recommend this place if you coming to Maratea.

What a beautiful hotel. We can't wait to return. Everything about the hotel was just amazing.
Maratea is a dream destination. A tiny lovely village up in the mountains, stunning beaches and the charm of countryside in between. Safe, welcoming, affordable. Suitable for families and teenagers, there are plenty of boat excursions and water sport facilities so one doesn’t get bored. Social but not too crowded. Will definitely come back!
Just careful, it’s vertical so distances seem to be much bigger and a car/bus is often necessary

Spread over a wide area on a dizzying hill side you need a vehicle to enjoy it fully. Our experience was marred by an occlusion that kept the sun away the whole time. The main centre up a winding road was plagued with cars even in the pedestrian zone. There was nothing special to see. The beach in Fuimicello is grey shingle neither comfortable nor welcoming although there is one convenient hotel bar to enjoy. The statue on the hillside appeared occasionally through the gloom.

Very nice small town, geared towards tourism, set on a stunning landscape, between the sea and spectacular mountains. We only had a walk around as we wanted to spend our time on the beach. However we stopped at Pasticceria Panza to taste their bocconotti: delicious!

It is preferable that you take a car, but if you don’t mind waiting the local bus service is regular and you can obtain a local taxi.
Remember it is Italy and Sundays can be difficult on public transport.

It was a surprise how Maratea is split into different sections the actual town is 5 km up the mountain. It has a pleasant square and restaurants leading from it. We enjoyed the views and there is a Michelin restaurant here but we didn’t fancy the drive in the evening. We were staying lower down and could walk to a little cove and had wonderful fish restaurant each evening ,so depends what you are looking for ! Also the port at Maratea is pleasant with a few restaurants and canoe trips.

A lovely old town, set amid beautiful mountain scenery with spectacular coastline. Worth driving up to the Christ statue for the views. Local cafes and bars in Maratea and the port were great. Lovely people and good value. Delicious fish lunch at 1999 Resataurant and tasty pizza at Brussello.
This hotel has a simply wonderful location with amazing views of the beautiful coast of Maratea. It’s also situated close to a range of wonderful beaches with fantastic lidos. The staff are friendly and helpful and always welcoming and they serve a wonderful Italian breakfast as you gaze at the beautiful sea and mountains in the distance. The restaurant attached is also fantastic, with delicious dishes.
Ok it’s only 3 stars, but honestly, with a location like this, friendly staff and a nice breakfast, who cares! It’s lovely!
Was a stopover for us on a drive from Campania to Calabria, but it ended up being a beautiful place to explore and relax. The rooms were comfortable with a great design style. Probably the best bathroom I had in Italy. It was also a great value with easy gated parking and a delicious breakfast provided. Stay here if you get the chance to go to Maratea! Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We loved our stay at the hotel. The swimming pool and the direct access to a private beach are amazing ! We just enjoyed our time and relax, exactly what we needed. It is good to know that there is no dinner provided by the property. We knew about it from the previous reviews so it didn't bother us as we had a car and we just drove to restaurants nearby but I think it is useful to know.
We were traveling by train. Le Tre Casette is ideally situated a short walk from the station -and- a 10-minute walk to the port.
The owners were marvelous, sharing the history of their home and of Maratea. They also recommended restaurants within walking distance of Le Tre Casette.
Our room had a gorgeous view of the port and the sea, with no traffic noise to disturb our slumber.
The young couple who run Suite La Terrazza are absolutely delightful. Communicating with them via WhatsApp was convenient and they immediately responded. Alina helped carry our luggage from a nearby parking lot through a maze of pathways to their lovely home/B&B. The room was cheerful, clean, nicely decorated and had modern bathroom facilities. A welcome bottle of wine awaited us.
The B&B was in a great location with easy access to a lovely beach by short walk or bus. Everything was great during our stay, from the breakfast to dinner at the restaurant in the building but, particularly all the staff who were very friendly and continuously went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and could do all the things we wanted to do around Maratea.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gabbiano. The staff was exceptional, treated you like family. Delicious dinner at the hotel in the evening. Wonderful swimming in crystal clear water. Beautiful view of the sea with breathtaking rock formations right down to the water.
This was a beautiful stay, the hosts were so kind and helpful. A gorgeous home and town. They gave us great recommendations and had a beautiful breakfast prepared. A lovely balcony with a beautiful view of Maratea. Would absolutely recommend!
The property was located very close to the sea side and in quiet neighborhood. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was amazing. The hotel had a view of the mountains as well. Totally recommend this place if you coming to Maratea.
Stunning little property just outside the centre of Maratea. It has its own private beach with entrance straight into the sea. Gorgeous place to watch the sunset and a lot of great outdoor areas to relax. Ada was a wonderful host.
Everything was excellent. The breakfast was even better than 5 star hotel we stayed previous day. All were homemade. Maria and her daughter were very caring and always smiling hosts. We enjoyed a lot. The view was amazing.
The hotel met my expectations. I was looking for a quite and relaxing get away. Excellent restaurant with a beautiful see view. The pool facilities are excellent.
