They have the largest swimming pool I saw on the island and one of the largest I have seen for a non-resort hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful, though they did not speak much of any English. The room was standard with a small balcony that only really served as a place to out wet clothes to dry since if looked out over the parking area and was east-facing, meaning quickly hot in August.

Very traditional suite. The owner upgraded us to what appeared to be an apartment because there was so much delay and confusion when we arrived. No one was there to greet us.

Angela, our host was wonderful - very kind and thoughtful. She didn't speak English, but we used Google translate audio translations and it worked very well. She drove and we followed in our car into town and then she walked us to a good local restaurant that we wouldn't have been able to find without her assistance. In town, there is also a beautiful boat harbor, shops, restaurants and grocery store. The B &B is lovely with a water view. The beach is across the street with a walk through an unkept area. The beach is sandy, but it is not very clean and there isn't any amenities at the beach. The terrace at the B& B was great to hang out and enjoy drinks in the sun and garden.

Licata is not a 'pretty' town but it is an old town full of narrow streets and with a flavour of old Sicily. There is an abundanceof restaurants and cafes well frequented by local folk and not expensive. There is also a nice, modern marina in Licata which is open for townsfolk to visit and walk around plus tthere are cafes and restaurants alongside which can be very popular and busy in the warmer months. Thee is a rail and bus station in the centre of town which can take you to most places around sicily but please note there are no taxis close to the station so if you arrive late at night in the dark with suitcase and far from your accommodation...be prepared for a long walk with google!

Licata has little to offer apart from a short visit to its museum. Streets are dingy and the road surfaces rutted. Driving required avoiding potholes. The surrounding area is hectares of plastic covered greenhouses. Mounds of flytipping further distracted from the environment.

A town with little to offer the moving tourist other than at least one nice, relatively secluded beach (for you to find on your own). We did eat at a restaurant located near the top of the hill that faces the ocean with a panoramic view...though we sent back the fish dish as it was overcooked and tough...bummer since the sauce was very nice. There are a number of private residences perched on the hill with ocean views and we saw some on Booking.com for over 1,000USD a night. But, if someone could find an affordable site there, it seems like it would be a nice place to settle into for a week or more. It appeared that the town has some degree of up-scale nature to it with what appeared to be a number of secondary residences.

Licata is a wonderful city.
Licata is a wonderful city. Food and hospitality are great, and their beaches are fantastic. Licata has an issue with water and trash. Water out of the faucet cannot be consumed, and there is a lot of trash, weeds, and animal waste on the street. Licata always had issues in these categories.

I would definitely recommend the accomodation..
I would definitely recommend the accomodation..
However, we should have looked at the guide book before travelling.
It states - Licata is a sad, unattractive, downtrodden town - it is.
A few hours, maybe an overnight stay, would have been enough, then move on...

Giampaolo is an excellent host. The accommodations are clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. We could not ask for more as it is a great value. The location is central with many bars and restaurants. It was nice to have the rooftop terrace and washing machine. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Licata.
The owner Angela was very nice and kind, she helped us and made sure we were always taken care of. Our room had a small balcony with chairs and table and you can see the sunset from it. In the morning she made us breakfast. The apartment was really close to the beach and to the city of Licata.
Franca was really friendly and made herself available at all times.
The house is great in terms of location, it is very spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped and the utensils were new.
The house has a great terrace looking over all of Licata, where you can enjoy you meal.
Elisabetta did all her best during our stay, she contacted us in advance and provided good tips to arrive to destination. We requested in advance to have specific diet for one of the guest and Elisabetta provided more than requested, super appreciated!
Amazing flat, spacious, designed with a lot of love by the owner Giuseppe and his father. Giuseppe was very helpful, a late checkout was no problem and he had great tips what to see and do around Licata.
Thanks again for having us ☺️✌️
It is a value for money option, spacious room with private bathroom, kitchenette and a/c. The staff is very helpful and respond immediately to any queries. It is located in a picturesque neighbourhood of Licata.
Beautifully styled spotless but also functional appartment, with really big rooms, located in the old town of Licata. Really helpful and friendly hosts. It was a pleasure staying at Appartmento Porto Marina!
We had the entire beach to ourselves! The beach is just 50 or so meters from the hotel. Also, we had the most comfortable beds here during our trip around Sicily. Excellent breakfast.
