It was just Charming...
We had spent 2 wks in Rome and on a cruise. This was only an overnight stay before we came home, and it made us want to stay another week. It was just a beautiful little seaside town with beautiful beaches and beautiful beach clubs. The food was amazing, and the hotel was an old what looked to be a farmhouse that was converted. It even had the old church keys that you used to lock your door. We just enjoyed everything they arranged for a ride to the airport the next morning for us, and we hated to go. Very, very relaxing and so quiet 🤫

Very clean. Very quiet. Very welcoming. Very close to the airport. Excellent breakfast. No hassle getting to and from the B and B. Business is slow during the winter, so we were the only guests at the time. Takes time getting accustomed to the small areas. The entire space would fit inside my bathroom. If you are a big guy, forget about taking a shower. This wasn't a problem for us. If you are on a budget, this is the place.

I like that quiet area between the bus stop and the beach.

I was looking for a place to stay near the airport for one...
I was looking for a place to stay near the airport for one night. The place is all farms & basically very inconvenient to get to. All back roads. One can see the airport, but to get to it, it takes half hour. I was told that taxi drivers don't even want to take anyone there & they charge extra. If one. comes without a car , u are stranded. The morning we left there was a couple outside & they said they had been waiting for a cab for about half hour. Avoid Fregene, unless one is looking for a farmland stay

The resort was just a 30 minutes taxi ride from the Roma airport. Due to Covid-19 the resort was not a busy as I expected, but enough people around so I didn't feel like I was the only person there. Restaurants were still open, although not all of them. The resort was great for a lazy long weekend, sitting by the pool and walking along the beach. I'm thinking of going back next month, Covid-19 permitting.

Restaurants were quaint and offered delicious food. This
would be a great family beach in the summer or for couples
or adults. It is definitely not a "party location."

The beach club restaurants were a little disorganised and I found the pasta dishes to be not as I expected. it is very difficult to get around Fregene without some sort of your own transport. In hindsite I woulf recommend hiring a car if you are going to Fregene as the public transport is very limited. The beach clubs are for the most very worn out, and there are very few shops close to the beach area.
The town is a lot of very nice houses to look at, but the beach was split up by different beach clubs. I would have liked to visit the nature reserve but it was very hard to access it from the town. The Restaurants in the town were good and I really enjoyed S Club's atmosphere.

Fregene a small village in Italy. Was amazing.
Fregene a small village in Italy. Was amazing. Hotel across the beach and beach restaurants made it convenient. The staff was very friendly and would def recommend it to family and friends. it was a nice get-away after we had been in paris for 4 days. It is a 30 min car ride at 6 am to Vatican and so well worth the stay to get away from he more touristy places like Rome and the OCEAN VIEW of our 2nd floor room made it so relaxing. The bicycles on the property are available to use at no extra charge and came in handy when we rode into town to the supermarket for the few things we needed. Totally an amazing place to stay. NOT LUXURIOUS - but very COZY and VERY CLEAN. loved every minute of it.
The hotel was in a very quiet part of Fregene, only a 10-minute walk to the beach. Free parking was available and even possible around the property if the official parking was full. We liked the overall look of the property, very cosy place, nice breakfasts, nice terraces all around the hotel. Very friendly staff and two dogs and two cats. Dog friendly. Bathroom clean, a lot of towels. Good stream of water in the shower. You get a discount on beds and umbrellas in Miraggio club on the beach. Other than that it's expensive.
I don't normally write reviews, but this place exceeded my expectations. It's a great deal for its location by the beach, bedroom accommodations, and breakfast. It was incredibly helpful to contact Lisa through WhatsApp, and she'd reply promptly with any help or advice. The family is very warm and made me feel comfortable the moment I arrived. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially for the price you pay. I will definitely stay again when I return to Italy.
Very comfortabl, clean and nicely furnished rooms in a quiet road in leafy Fregene, a 20 minute taxi ride from Rome Fiumicino Airport (but very quiet). Lovely house with terrace and garden. The beach is a three-minute walk away; host Geogio is very helpful. We only spent one night because we had to travel on to a conference but would have liked to stay longer.
We enjoyed the patios and grounds at this classic villa hotel. Breakfast was great with many choices and Italian pastries. It is easy to walk to the beach and reach many good seafood/Italian restaurants. There is also a lovely walking, biking path to use. The staff are welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful 😇
I was passing through on my way to FCO. I had come from an overnight train to Rome, and checked in a bit after that. I basically stayed there to sleep and write the entire time, and it was a nice place for that, and then had to catch a plane the next morning.
Close to the beach, about 12-20 min walk depending which beach spot, you can borrow bike for free. The room with the bathroom had large bed and lots of closet space. The owners were very lovely people. WiFi worked ok. Close to the food market and ATM.
Great location 15 minute walk from the beach. Close to a supermarket and a pastry shop for breakfast. Lovely, spacious balcony. Well-fitted kitchen and facilities. Plenty of towels and shower gel/soap. Washing up and cleaning fluids provided.
Large room with comfortable bed. Large bathroom. It was a bit of a walk to town and restaurants and beach. Easily accessible from
The airport- but remember to buy a return ticket from airport as it’s not easy to buy once at the hotel.
It’s a good option for those how wants to visit Rome
You can get the regional train to Rome at Maccarese station where you can park your car at no cost on the street near the station
Some restaurants and market near the house
Good location just a few steps away from the beach. There are bicycles to use for free. Breakfast is fine, we just miss some salty options because there were only cakes (very tasty, though!).
Close to the beach & a supermarket. Hosts were responsive (took our washing because the machine didn't work). They also let us stay in the apartment a little longer until our lift arrived
The staff assisted me with travel arrangements and were so very charming! I will come back when i return to Rome. The made me feel at home and alleviated some anxieties.
