The Old Town is stunning and the service in cafes and restaurants was very good. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We visited sites from Cinema Paradiso and the lady showing us the cinema was welcoming and informative. The Catherdral and the square it sits in are beautiful and lovely to see the Arab - Norman buildings. Beachfront buildings are beautiful. Even though it was out of season it was busy so maybe summer it would be too crowded but understandable as so pretty. Vegetarian food on offer less inventive that in other towns in Sicily but the sights of the Old Town make up for any minor disappointments.ClaireGreece - 10Scored 10

An absolutely charming town, the resort was relaxing, the employees all so nice… Cefalu had incredible beauty and if you are there at easter, the procession to the dome at night was touching. Beautiful plaza in front of the dome. Everything you can imagine in a small sicilian town.

Free private parking easy to get to and spacious, you will pay for parking to stay anywhere in Old Town as it's ZTL, so this is definitely worth it. Heating good in winter (hard to find in Sicily), loads of cooking utensils in kitchen - I even made homemade lemonade! Owner had great communication and ready to meet us on arrival, loads of helpful tourist and food recommendations. Supermarket nextdoor. Very quiet street, no noise issues at all. We loved Cefalu!

The Sea Palace is our favorite place so far as we travel around Sicily for a month. The front desk staff was friendly and made dinner reservations for us each night, as well as recommended a fantastic restaurant. The beach staff too were so helpful. I had just had hip surgery and they were very attentive that I was safe. Cefalu shouldn't be missed. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was extensive with lots of options. This room was also a great value for all that was provided. Because it's so central, parking is a ways away (about a 10 minute walk) and you can't drive to the hotel. But the hotel gave us great info on how to reserve the parking beforehand. Donatella and her mom run a beautiful, clean and bright facility and they serve The Best Breakfast in Sicily! we stayed three nights, slept well, felt safe, comfortable and could easily have stayed longer. it is truly 150 metres from the beach and we walked everywhere within minutes. if we ever return we shall certainly book here again.
