Lovely hotel, very clean and airy. Friendly reception, breakfast, and cleaning staff. Large selection at breakfast. The room was large, clean, and airy, with a nice large bed and plenty of storage. It had electric blinds but no full-size mirror. Good-sized pool with steps and a slope. The pool had a good-sized deep and shallow end, plus a very shallow area for younger children. Used the gym, but there was no bike, and the air conditioning wasn't working until the next day. The hotel also had a good, modern paddle court. As a base for the area, it’s a perfect hotel.

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist. It can best be explored on foot though you will need a car to go from Modica alta to the lower area of Modica. Modica has many churches and eateries as well as shops and the narrow streets are fascinating and always offering lovely surprises. It is a hilly town so not ideal for the elderly tourst to get around unless they get a taxi

Very nice city split in two parts, Modica alta(hill) and modica bassa(old town), long corso for nice promenade for shopping and eating, many old interesting buildings and monuments, turistic train running around the city, defintely 1-2 night to spend worth it.

Modica is a very interesting town.
Modica is a very interesting town. For older people the steps and steep roads and streets might be challenging. The green tourist “train” gave a good overview of the histoic centre of the old town. Modica is famous for its chocolate - tours need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Modica is so unique.
Modica is so unique. Our first view of the steep hillside of buildings took our breath away. Our phones weren't helping us get there so we drove down from the alto section to the bottom through the town. That was amazing. Just looking up at different times of the day are worth the experience.

Unfortunately we visited Modica on a rainy day so our experience was dampened a little. It looked like it was full of historical interest and of course it's famous for its chocolate if you like their style of chocolate!
We found Ragusa Ibla more enjoyable.
So beautiful this little gem of a hotel is tucked away right in the heart of Modica. The rooms are amazing, the owner very accommodating and friendly (he let us check in a good few hrs earlier than stated) and we had a wonderful breakfast there. It’s a stunning building and our room even had a balcony overlooking the town. Our ceilings had murials on which the owner had preserved through glass ceilings and it just added to the authenticity for our first night in Sicily.
I had a wonderful stay here. The house is small but exactly what I needed; comfortable, clean, and right at the center of the old town of Modica. Even though it is in the center, it is in a small street that is very quiet. In this area, it is easy to find a parking place. Lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets at walking distance. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!
The apartment is in Modica centre.
It was even better than we expected, close to everything, in the beautiful old town. You don't want to miss these streets if you come to Sicily, it was the best experience.
The apartment was clean, modern and very nice.
The hosts were also very kind, we're glad for everything!
Such a lovely, modern apartment with everything you need. The view from the balcony is unreal, I would return to Modica just to relax on the balcony again. Fabrizio was very responsive and helpful and the location is great and central.
